Party dress panic...
It's that time of year again... We've all been so busy making sure we've bought presents for everyone on the list, decked the house out with festive fancies and got the all important food and drink to settle us in for a good few days of not leaving the house that we've forgotten one thing. Useful versus Beautiful

Mmm, I'd take slight issue with Mr Morris on this one, when it comes to fashion and accesssories anyway. At Maple & Rose, we'd assert that no-one (that we know anyway!) buys clothes, bags or jewellery because they meet a need or serve some higher purpose other than to make the wearer/owner feel beautiful.
So, give away anything you own that doesn't:
1. Make you smile when you see it 2. Hug you in all the right places or 3. Make you want to meet that "ex" who broke your heart.
And we all deserve a treat now and then. Which (I'd like to remind any men out there) doesn't mean something "useful" or white goods of any description.

Still hot for AW11
I love the different seasons but this year, I never actually got around to packing away my woolly cardigans or opaque tights this Spring and Summer. Am I the only one that's noticed how we can have snow in June and April showers in July? The only benefit to this merging of the seasons is that you have to get creative with your wardrobe. I'm now a master at stretching out those Spring and Summer pieces long into September, October and beyond. That's what I call doubling your wardrobe!
