Just thought I would let you all know (if there is actually anyone still here that is) that we have decided to change things again. Instead of continuing the RP onto the next year we are going to start the RP from the beginning. The RP hasn't had the easiest of times over the last two years and a lot of shit has happened. So a fresh start is the right thing to do I think.
So, if you are still with us (if you are I love you for that) then obviously you are welcome to stay with us and be a part of the RP. The new RP is the same, which is here, and we've already started on the bios so hopefully we can open it soon.
I'm sorry it's taken a while to finally decide what we are doing. And I feel really bad for wanting to just give up on it for a while. But I'm determined to keep the RP alive and make it better than what is was.

I am so sorry that this RP has just sort of...well, died. And I really didn't want that to happen. But so much has been going on and I don't see a point now trying to get people to join this RP and take up characters. I know that I don't have the energy to, my health has really went to complete shit, and Lexi is away on holiday next week. So I think it's safe to say, even though it kills me to say it, this RP is over.
BUT, I have already made the new RP here. And at the end of June I am hoping to have that one up and running. Those of you who have stuck with this RP, and I seriously love you for not leaving, can already be part of it if you are wanting to stay with us. I've already made a long post explaining what we are planning to do with it in the OOC blog but if you have any questions then of course you are more than welcome to ask.
Again I am really sorry this RP has failed. This was my baby and I hate to think that I've let it dwindle away into nothing.

Last year Clara had it all, she had friends who were devoted to her, a boyfriend who loved her and her grades were doing well but over the summer things went from worse to down right horrid. Her and Regulas had dated for a few short weeks and already it had left an impact on his family that believed she had tried to turn him against them. Although she is bitchy by nature and walks around with her guard up and her heart under lock and key, she is a devoted friend and loyal to those who stick around. Activity Level - Pretty active, but I’d say 8 on a scale from 1 to 10 just to be safe. I do have school on the weekdays (and it sucks. just saying.) But whenever I get home I’m usually online. Weekends I’m free and probably online (bc I don’t do much besides tumblr). I try to check tumblr at least once a day either on my laptop or mobile.
Previous Experience - I haven’t been roleplaying on tumblr for very long. I currently have a few indie rp blogs and was previously a part of another Marauders Era RPG as Marlene and currently a part of another Marauders Era 4x4 as Dorcas.
Why Have You Chosen This Character? - I honestly just love the character Marlene McKinnon. I know she’s not technically ‘canon’ and only gets mentioned a handful of times but to me she’s so real. Like she was a big part of the marauders time. And I actually love that she’s not ‘canon’ because that gives you room to play her in a different way you know? I’m not very good at explaining my feelings, haha I’m sorry.
Anything Else You Would Like To Add/Tell Us? - Could I possibly have a FC change to Ashley Benson? If not her then Imogen Poots, or Tamsin Egerton? Also I know there was a Marlene before and I tried so very hard to find as much about her as possible so I can try to pick up where she left off (if I actually did get accepted of course) but I didn’t find everything I was looking for. So I’ve combined somethings that I’ve come up with from my previous portrayal of Marlene and some of the other’s if that makes sense.

Stance On The War - Marlene is definitely joining The Order, considering the Death Eaters pretty much stand for everything she despises in the wizarding world, once she’s out of Hogwarts. All though her family, and some of her friends, have objected, she just feels like it’s the right thing to do. There’s a war going on and she wants to fight back, why not do it for the ‘good guys’?
Anything Else About The Character? -
Marlene is the youngest McKinnon child. She has three older brothers; Mitchell, Mark, and Michael. They pretty much taught her all she knows about Quidditch, fighting, and getting away with pranks and such.
Marlene somtimes feels like a disappointment to her mom because she’s not the ‘perfect little Pureblood daughter’ she always dreamed of. But she decided a long time ago that she wouldn’t change for anybody.
Marlene likes to drink….a lot. She had her first taste of alcohol in fourth year but didn’t really pick up on it til the summer before her sixth year.
Marlene isn’t very good at expressing her emotions in a positive or productive way.
Since Marlene has pushed the dream of her being a Quidditch player after Hogwarts to the very, very back of her mind, she’s considering becoming a Healer instead so she can actually be useful in the war.
Marlene doesn’t play well with Slytherins. Besides Andromeda, but that’s mainly because she’s not like most Slytherins.
Marlene is willing to fight for the people she cares about and what she believes in. She’s headstrong and acts on impulse which usually gets her into quite a bit of trouble.
Marlene is secretly a romantic.
Marlene loves breakfast for dinner.
Marlene rarely does what she’s told. She’s more of a 'I-do-what-I-want-when-I-want' kind of person.

Para Sample - Summer was suppose to be a time to relax and have fun. It was suppose to be long days and even longer nights filled with laughter and crazy adventures that would make great stories once she got back to school. Instead, it was a stressful time for the whole McKinnon family.
The blonde sat on top of the kitchen counter, kicking her long legs back and forth as she finished her bowl of ice cream. Her ears perked up as she heard shouting and loud footsteps coming from outside.
"Are you insane?" Mitchell, her oldest brother, exclaimed, his face was turning red with anger as he and Mark stormed in the house.
"No of course not. I’m practical." Mark replied, stomping into the kitchen. "Right, because recklessly running around, trying to play the hero, makes you very practical. Practically suicidal! You could die Mark!" Mitchell boomed. He followed Mark to the kitchen where the two older boys now stood, anger boiling in both of them. "You don’t think I realize that? You don’t think that the thought doesn’t cross my mind before I go out there? Because it does, trust me. But there’s a war going on. Others are fighting and innocent people dying Mitch! Who knows who’s next? It could be us for all you know. But I don’t see you, Mister Big Shot, stepping up and doing anything about it!" They were chest to chest, giving each other furious looks. Marlene hopped off the counter before either of them could burst, quickly setting her bowl down and making her way over to them. "Aye, knock it off will ya’?" she asked, stepping between the two of them and roughly pushing them apart.
Neither of them even bothered to notice the younger girl’s interference. They just continued glaring at each other, as if one of them was going to pounce at any moment.
“Both of ya’ need to calm down, now.” she said sternly.
"He started it." Mark mumbled under his breath. Mitchell tried to get through Marlene so he could get in Mark’s face, "I’m not the one acting like a reckless idiot, that’s all you!" "I don’t care who started it! You’re both idiots so I’m ending it now!" Marlene exclaimed, trying desperately to keep them apart before things got an uglier.
There was a moment of silence. No one spoke, only glared at one another. Then without another word Mark stormed out of the room and up the stairs. Groaning in frustration, Mitchell walked of, heading in the opposite direction towards the back door. Sighing and shaking her head curls, Marlene went to put her bowl in the sink before walking towards the stairs.
Once she was upstairs, she passed by her brother’s rooms and her father’s old study. She headed towards her own room, but not without passing the master bedroom. The sound of hoarse coughing came from the room and Marlene couldn’t help but cringed at the sound. Hesitantly she turned around, walking back to the doorway of the room and peeking in. “‘Ey Dad,” she spoke softly, staring at the bedridden man in front of her.
"Marlene," he turned to look at her, his once booming voice was barely above a whisper. She forced a small smile and moved to sit down in a leather chair beside the bed. "Do you need me to get ‘ya anything?" He only shook his head in response, reaching out to pat her shoulder. "What was all that yelling I heard downstairs?" he muttered. "Oh, just Mark and Mitchell being gits. Don’t worry about it. I handled it." she assured him, although they both knew it was much more than that.
Mr. McKinnon chuckled softly at his little girl, his hand reached out to grasp hers. “You’re a strong girl Marley,” he spoke softly, “A hell of a strong girl. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.” A small smile tugged at her lips. “Thanks Dad,” she stood up and leaned forward, draping her arms over his shoulders in what was suppose to be a hug.
These were moments that Marlene had learned to cherish. Life had been hectic lately with the war going on and her father getting ill. But when shit was hitting the fan she always knew she could go to her dad for love and support. That’s what made it all hurt so much. The idea that she could lose him; her best friend, her number one supporter, her anchor, hurt like hell. But Marlene knew it was only a matter of time before she lost him forever, and she tried to be prepared so maybe it wouldn’t hurt as much.
Because Marlene McKinnon was not weak. Marlene McKinnon was strong girl.

Peter Pettigrew was always sort of a wallflower until he met the marauders. He never thought anyone would really want to be his friend, and when they showed an interest in him, he latched on and refused to let go. And here they were, approaching their seventh year, and still best friends. However, things were seeming to change in Peter’s eyes. War was seemingly on its way and Peter thought he felt a distance growing between them. His three friends were all preoccupied with thoughts of the future and that terrified Peter. He didn’t want to fight in this war - he couldn’t fight in this war. The mere idea was horrifying to him, but all of his friends… if he didn’t fight, what would they think? Peter already felt like they were ignoring him, how much worse would it get if he didn’t join them in this war? They would leave him behind.
Who would you like to see an app for most; alecto carrow, emma vanity, or dorcas meadowes?
Any of them would be great so whoever you want to apply for most is absolutely fine. Though I would say since we currently don’t have any other characters outside of Hogwarts taken up that either Emma or Dorcas would be better. Just because they would give you more people to rp with. But like I said, whoever you want to apply for is great :)
