I really wish I didn't have to make this update, but after a follow up visit today at our vet it turns out that Boog is blocked once again. This time the vet recommends a perineal urethrostomy surgery as his last chance, which is way out of our price range being another $5k. We have already spent around $4k in total with his previous treatments; being the two overnight stays at the emergency vet, and his first initial treatment at our primary vet. The money we made from the donations from the first go around went towards his second emergency overnight stay, which was just about all of it. We are already on a payment plan for the residual costs for the rest of the bills with credit cards, but we've already hit our limit. Right now Boog is at home with a catheter and is still on the same meds to hopefully ease passage for him over the weekend, we are hoping that nothing bad happens in the meantime and hopefully we can do the surgery by Monday. At this point we also have to consider the possibility of euthanasia if things get worse. But it's worth a shot and I know it's a long shot, but any donations would be appreciated once again. I can't take any more sketch commissions this time though, my workload is already past max capacity and I don't want to take more work than I am physically capable of putting out in a timely manner. I'm sorry. I've had these rough adopts in my files for a while, and I originally wasn't planning on selling/posting them since I felt like their concepts were a bit rough around the edges. But I could use the cash to help pay for Boogs surgery.
