man also like. thinking about how i started watching marble hornets way back in 2009, and how that was probably the most influential found footage internet horror series to ever take off. how it nailed down args, collaborative internet horror, and laid the groundwork for analog horror and youtube horror series in general. and how kane's backrooms series absolutely spawned in part because marble hornets created that framework that so many other youtube series pivoted off of.
