Ratronaut and the Moon of Cheese
Been spending more time drawing than making music, so here's an illustration. More art on my Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/astronautstuff/
I’ve just released a new album which you can listen to on Spotify: (link: https://open.spotify.com/album/3RZOrFbl2icF1FsYOyzCIy) open.spotify.com/album/3RZOrFbl…
Or you can also check my Bandcamp: (link: https://somesleeplessnights.bandcamp.com/) somesleeplessnights.bandcamp.com
Some Sleepless Nights is a little personal project I started a couple of months ago to deal with the dark times I was going through. The feeling of loneliness, emptiness, and non-belonging all hit me at the same time, and making my own music, observing myself, and creating my own world have helped me during my healing process. This particular album was heavily inspired by the amazing Celeste soundtrack (by Lena Raine) and Emilie Autumn’s “Unlaced” album. I felt like writing something inspired by video game music (which is admittedly not a genre I’m very familiar with when it comes to songwriting and arranging), but with improvised guitar solos and textures, since the guitar is my primary instrument. These tracks are the result of all the mess inside my head. I hope you enjoy my music and that it somehow connects with you in a positive way. <3

One of the saddest realities of life is being excited about so many bands that no one cares about.
Dead Letter Circus — The Mile
How can a song be SO GOOD LIKE THIS ONE?
Corey’s favorite grunge bands are obviously Temple of the DOG and SounDOGarden.

To the concert goers out there
What do you think of bands that use backing tracks? Are you OK with bands using samples and backing tracks in order to enhance a performance in a live environment? Is it acceptable to use them only for keyboards, synths, and/or unusual instruments so they can replicate the studio version of the song or would you rather see/hear different arrangements and no backing tracks just to keep the authenticity of the performance?
