We hold onto sooo many things. Ever stop to think why? Recognizing the things we hold onto is an acknowledgment of our life's accomplishments and/or rites of passage as we grow. These things serve as place holders to our very own timelines. Rites of passage are universal and as people, we want to hold onto those memories. Clothing can be at the forefront of these memories and one of the major things we attribute to these rituals. First Sleep Over Chilean Poncho First Communion I remember having to beg my mother to buy me the one with puffy sleeves. First Dance Could care less about my date, I just wanted to be a senorita. Senior Prom I wanted to be timeless and classic. High School Graduation Cap and gown.
