My name is Natalie and I played bass drum and marimba in my highschool's marching band. I'm in my second year of college and have done all 4 years of marching band in highschool so if you have any questions please feel free to ask me!

R.I.P to one of the best band directors I know

I had the same band director for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. She taught me how to play in time, how to sight read, but most importantly she taught me my love for the marimba. She was strict but that’s what made her such a good teacher. Throughout high school she would come to my games and performances to ask me how band and school was going. I am sad to say she will no longer be able to. On July 19th she passed away… May you rest in peace Mrs. Greer. You changed so many young lives for the better.

This day was filled with sorrow and regret. I woke up and got ready for work like normal, came into work and was fine for a few hours. Then around 11 am a co-worker told me the news. I was baffled how could the lead singer of my favorite band be so unhappy when they were doing so well in life? It just goes to show fame does not make you happy and that everyone has their demons. I regretted never being able to see Linkin Park live in concert, and now I never will. When I first heard the news I thought it was a joke, but who would joke about something so serious? I own every album and know every song by heart. I just wish I had seen them while I had the chance. Rest in peace.

Merry Christmas y'all! Lots of tears shed today, but in the end it was a good day. Got to spend it with my family and then my work family. I would only change one thing ☺ goodnight!

Late birthday gift along with being an early Christmas present 😍 Love my new 88 key keyboard. I have been playing on a 61 key since I was little. This one is also weighted and has a sustain pedal, something my old one did not. I plan on playing this baby as much as possible over this winter break!
