CAN THEY USE CHOPSTICKS: No, and by the end of his meal, he’d be too inebriated to properly learn from his mistakes. If he gave it a proper go, though, and abstained for once he’d end up learning, though !
WHAT DO THEY DO WHEN THEY CAN’T SLEEP: Back when he was still alive, James would cease trying && work on some plan or other he had cooking up. This was mostly him just breaking out the parchment && pencils and doodling whatever fantastical building idea he’d had in mind, or he’d make art of human anatomical studies ( because that is so normal ! ). Nowadays, he doesn’t need to sleep, nor does he attempt to do so, so the issue is nonexistent !
WHAT WOULD THEY IMPULSE BUY AT THE GROCERY STORE: He would impulse buy mangos. He likes mangos, and during his teenaged / early adult years they weren’t particularly easy to get ahold of, so when they were there it was an instant grab. If he could leave the Cortez now, it would be the same. James March is a mango fiend, pass it on !
WHAT ORDER DO THEY WASH THINGS IN THE SHOWER: This is a fun one ! James washes his face first. It’s often the most exposed skin he has, other than his hands ( which are usually washed before he bathes ), and so is exposed to most of the elements ... And the non-elements such as : blood, other bodily fluids, chemicals, etc. He then washes his hair, his underarms, and then his body. If it’s a shaving / facial hair grooming day, this is instead the first thing he does. He doesn’t have a particular skin care routine or anything, just soap && water is enough for him.
WHAT’S THEIR COFFEE ORDER: James, when young, would take his coffee with one cream, one sugar. As he got older, he stopped taking sugar in his coffee, and nowadays he takes it completely black.
WHAT SORT OF APPS WOULD THEY HAVE ON THEIR SMARTPHONE: This is also fun --- James, I fell, would have a lot of puzzle / mind game apps. He would also have a crossword app, no doubt about that. He’d likely also have those building design games ( like the Sims ) and those little business-running games. In terms of practical apps, he’d have a personal and a business F*cebook, as well as an official business Inst*gram account for The Cortez. Other than that, I can’t see him being big on social media. Though @horrificks sent me this, and I think James with a Tinder is hilarious.
HOW DO THEY ACT AROUND CHILDREN: James is interesting around children. In a sense, children almost frighten him, because he’s afraid if he ever had his own, he’d turn into his father, thus his children turning into him. However, that doesn’t effect how he behaves, while he’s sort of stand-off-ish around them, he also makes a decent effort to be extra funny. He’d like them to be happy.
WHAT WOULD THEY WATCH ON TV WHEN THEY’RE BORED AND NOTHING THEY REALLY LIKE IS ON: Back in the day, the TV itself would be the item of the watching ; TV was invented in 1927 / 1928, and while it existed, it wouldn’t be sold until after James’ death, so looking at displays of them was enough. Nowadays, if nothing he likes is on, he settles for auctioning shows or ... Reality TV. Yes, you read that correctly. Reality TV.

“Coming in here— repair the wall yourself! Fucking Pringles can man looking bi—” the profanity and insults were all jumbled up as tate finally rose once again to his feet. death was still new to him. it was disorienting, befogging. it was like being in a brand new body that was yet the same, but the slight lightheadedness was subdued by the anger he felt. perhaps the situation didn’t call for such aggression but already overstimulated, he simply couldn’t help himself. “I’ll show you who’s fucking fatherless!” the teen ripped the phone from the bedside table, leaving a cable with snapped plastic behind, and chucked it two-handed at the other’s head.
Dark brows raise alongside the teen’s voice — First in anger, the crease between James’ brows deep && quirked with agitation … and then features fall, the rigor mortis of shock settling back into pale skin for the first time since 1932. Nothing quite surprised James anymore, he had seen it all ! He had seen every kind of outburst, violent or otherwise ; But this, oh, this was different. This was an outburst laced with a familiarity that could only come from the very recesses of the ghosts mind ; this was staring into a mirror and for the first time seeing a reflection in chrome-coated glass. For James, once, had been a boy rebelling against the condescending tones of a man who had turned his ignorance to authority — A boy who craved quiet amongst the chaos of his own mind && the world around him. He supposes he deserves it, the shouting, the … insults ? Who is the Pringles Can Man ?
Eyes avert, perhaps in shame. ❝ 𝐈 — ❞ A singular word slips past lips before the SNAP ! Is heard && black eyes flick back upwards, but by the point that March’s mind registers the action about to befall him, it is too late. The DING ! of cogs && bits sounds out as the telephone makes contact with James’ head, a loud thud —or was that a crack ?— in unison with the almost musical noise of assault. James makes a yelp of a sound, balance lost. A hand flies to the deep ache in his temple, a sharp pain flowering from the point of impact, settling behind his eyes && into the base of his skull. Stumbling across the room for a moment, a long groan fills the air — && then finally, as eyes previously squeezed tight open to look upon the face of teenaged rage, words are formed.
