-for the sake of this imagine you and jackson are seniors in high school
-youâve always known who jackson wang is because heâs THAT guy at schoolÂ
-you know that one guy at your school who is the star athlete and is friends with literally everyone and no one seems to think badly of himÂ
-yup thatâs jackson wang
-when heâs walking in the hallways during passing period he stops every five seconds to high five or hug someone cUS HE KNOWS EVERYONEÂ
-heâs the captain of the football team and the star player of the lacrosse teamÂ
-jaebum ended up being the captain of the lacrosse team but jackson doesnât mindÂ
-jackson always talks about how chic and sexy jaebum looks during drills at practiceÂ
-jaebums like:Â âJACKSON ARE YOU GONNA CRADLE THAT BALL OR WHAT??â
-jackson:â OF COURSE MR. OH SO CHIC AND SEXY CAPTAIN IM JAEBUMâÂ
-*jaebum turns to look at camera* â why didnât i quit when i had the chance?â
-jackson in the background:Â âJAE-BUM MORE LIKE JAE-BAEâ
-heâs also on the national fencing teamÂ
-is there anything he canât do ????
-*cough* get namjoon to hang out with him *cough*
-what
-heâs a nomadÂ
-heâs constantly migrating from group to group during lunch
-thereâs never a single group of friends that heâs constantly hanging out with. BUT this doesnât mean heâs not genuine with his friendships. he just wants to spend time with everyone
-he can mostly be seen hanging out with Jooheon, his teammate from football, his quiet friend Mark from the basketball team, or his friend Youngjae from his english class
-he and mark dressed up as mario and luigi for halloweenÂ
-jackson had to literally force mark into the costume
-you know that one guy whoâs always blasting music in his car in the morning at the senior parking lot
-well thatâs jacksonÂ
-is also the one that dances to music as heâs driving and will literally have no hands on the steering wheel at some point
-jinyoung never made the mistake of asking him for a ride home a second time
-always late to class
-but not because heâs lazy or doesnât care about his educationÂ
-but because heâs always having a conversation with one of his friends or a teacher (BECAUSE EVERYONE LIKES TALKING TO HIM BECAUSE HIS HAPPINESS IS SO CONTAGIOUS) and he loses track of time
-heâs also too polite to leave mid-conversation so he stays until the other person leaves firstÂ
-jackson is always eager to pay attention in class but he ends up getting distracted by yugyeom playing on his switch in the seat behind him or marks music playing from his headphonesÂ
-and also because he forgot paper...... and a pencil..... and his whole backpack because he left it in the locker room
-and as for you
-youâre not the type to really socialize much outside of the few close friends you have and youâre perfectly content with that
-youâre in yearbook and the only things concerning you are the deadlines you have to meet and whether or not youâll get into your dream college
-the only reason you know jackson is because your editor is constantly calling him in to help identify students in pictures that are going on spreads bECAUSE JACKSON SOMEHOW KNOWS EVERYONES FULL NAME, THEIR BIRTHDAY, THE NAME OF THEIR FIRST PET, AND THEIR SOCIAL SECURITY LIKE HOWÂ
-in fact, jackson has gone into the yearbook class so many times that hes befriended pretty much everyone
- except for you
-whenever he greets you as he walks in you barely give him a nod as youâre too engrossed in finishing the captions on a page
-you donât notice the subtle glances your way and the smile that forms on his face when he sees you laugh at a joke your friend made
-your friend Sana,who sits next to you in yearbook, ends up getting assigned to the lacrosse page and you find yourself sitting next to Jackson on a daily basis as heâs always helping out sana with the spread
-he never fails to greet you with his charming smile as he takes a seat next to you (IN BETWEEN YOU AND SANA) and starts helping sana with captionsÂ
-in the following weeks, you end up getting so backed up with student life pages that you forget about jacksons presence next to you every class
-it isnât until that day do you actually talk to himÂ
-one day the yearbook class was staying late after school in order to finish a few spreads that were dueÂ
-you see, at some point the stress of college acceptances and yearbook deadlines caused you to have a mental breakdown in the middle of class
-you feel the tears coming to your eyes and the familiar tight feeling in your chest and immediately start speed walking out of class
-you run to the bathroom and let yourself have a good cry before you decide to get some fresh airÂ
-you walk to the football field and sit down in the bleachers and just let yourself think clearly ask you look up at the starsÂ
-you donât notice the person practicing shots on the field. you donât notice them look at you before putting their stick down and walking towards you
-it is only when that person sits next to you do you turn to see jackson smiling at you with that same cheerfulness but with some worry laced in his eyes
-he carefully asks you if youâre ok and you just look at him in silence
-you wonder how a person can have the energy to be so nice to everyone and be so optimistic all the time and never have to worry about anything because he already has scholarship offers for both football and lacrosse
-it is only when you see jacksons smile fade and he turns away do you realize you said all of that out loudÂ
-you immediately try to apologize but he cuts you off and tells you itâs fineÂ
-itâs a full five minutes before he starts talking again and ends up venting to you about how itâs really hard to be the cheerful and worry-free jackson that everyone loves. he tells you how he doesn't talk about anything serious because heâs afraid no one will want to be friends with him if heâs not funny or happy. he tells you about the pressure he feels being the star athlete of two sports and how he is unsure of what college to go toÂ
-and you just sit there and listen to him vent, realizing youâve misunderstood him this whole time
-and you and jackson just vent to each other about your current troubles and worries about your future until you eventually decide to leave before your yearbook adviser sends out a search party for you
-however, before you leave you ask for jacksons phone and input your number as you tell him to just text you if he ever needs to talk about anythingÂ
-you assure him that you donât think any less of him for wanting to be serious sometimes instead of his usual cheerful self
-as you walk off jackson does a little victory dance because HE JUST GOT YOUR DIGITSÂ
-the next couple of months are less stressful with the yearbook finally submitted and your college having been chosen. when you texted jackson you got into your dream college he called you immediately and was yelling through the phone about how excited he was for you (his physics teacher could be heard in the background telling jackson to put his phone away cuS THEYâRE IN THE MIDDLE OF A TEST)
-jackson no longer comes into the yearbook class now that you donât need his help anymore but you still text him everyday about any small issues youâre having or anything funny that happened at school
-âdude bambam just taught my bio teacher how to dab and now she does it every time we answer a question correctlyâ
-âmark wanted me to tell you to stop telling everyone to call you two the markson coupleâ (jacksons gasp could be heard across the whole campus)Â
-you donât realize the feelings youâve developed for jackson until prom season rolls in and as the number of promposals around you increase, you canât help but imagine jackson doing that for you
-but you doubt he would ask you when he could ask literally anyone in the school
-but one day while youâre in the library catching up on reading/sleeping, jaebum walks up to you and asks if you can help him create a poster for his promposalÂ
-usually you would say no but seeing as jaebum has helped you in the economic class you share with him you agree and follow him to his table on the senior lawn where you spot jackson along with other football and lacrosse players crowded around somethingÂ
-that something is revealed when the boys disperse and hold up a poster that asks if you would be willing to dab with jackson at promÂ
-jackson appears holding some roses (which heâs using to dab with)Â
-you shake your head and walk up to him before accepting the roses and pulling him in for a hugÂ
-the whole senior lawn erupts into cheers becAUSE JACKSON WANG HAS JUST FOUND A PROM DATEÂ
-you pull away and look up to see jackson smiling at you with a brightness that puts the sun to shame
-you ask him if the promposal was bambams idea
-jackson: *flashback to bambams house a couple days before*Â âare you sure this is going to work?â
-bambam:âim telling you every girl wants to be asked to prom like thisâ *he says as he proudly looks at the poster heâs madeâ
-jackson *end flashback*Â âi have no idea what youâre talking aboutâ
-when jackson drops you off at your house after school he just turns off the engine before pulling you in for a kiss that makes your whole body feel warm
-he pulls away and chuckles at the deep blush on your cheeks and teasingly asks if this means youâll officially date himÂ
-you stutter out a yes before practically sprinting out of his car and into your house with jacksons screams still audible behind your closed door
-âBYE JAGIYA!!! LOVE YOU! DONâT FORGET TO CALL ME!â
-but boyfriend jackson let me tell you
-he is not afraid to tell everyone that you two are dating
-by the next day the whole school knows that you two are together because you bet your ass jackson has texted every group chat heâs in to tell them âheâs found his other halfâ <-----Â his exact words
-jackson is constantly talking about you to his friends and classmates and teachers and neighbors and that cashier at the grocery store and that woman he sat next to on the bus and that dog he found while walking home
-he just truly loves you and wants the whole world to know how much joy you give himÂ
-he always holds your hand as he walks you to class (much to your chagrin beCAUSE PDA JACKSON) and whenever he stops to say hi to someone he never lets go and always makes sure to introduce you as his significant other
-jackson:Â âhey wassup yoongi how was your basketball game?â
-yoongi:âit was great actually we won and i shot a thre-â
-jackson:âyeah thats great. more importantly, have you met y/n? theyâre the love of my life.â
-whenever youâre stressed about something heâll take you to a cute cafe or book store so that you can calm down over some coffee or a good book (and also so he can take cute pictures with you using every filter on instagram and snapchat and send them to his mom....and dad.....and grandma.....and his third cousin once removed
-once walked into your stats class while you were taking a test and pulled your arms up to slide your sweater on you as he told you to stop leaving it at his house (your face was burning as the whole class started hooting and the teacher just smiled because young love ya know?)
-car rides with him are never boring as he loves to sing along to your favorite ballads and add his own little twists to them with some adlibs
-he also loves rolling down his window to say hi to every single dog that pokes its head out of the car next to his
-gives the best bear hugs in the world
-you act embarrassed whenever he does it in the middle of the hallway but you secretly love it because you feel so safe and cared for in his arms
-when you sneak your arms around his waist the smile that appears on jacksons face can literally end warsÂ
-he never fails to let you know how grateful he is to be with you and if he isnât saying it in words heâs showing you through the little things he does such as buying hot chocolate for you on cold mornings or sending you an update he saw online about your favorite author releasing a new book or sending you pictures of youngjaes dog or a cat he found in his neighborhood because he knows how much you love animalsÂ
-he insists on paying when you two go on dates but you get irritated with him and he canât help but laugh at how cute you look when youâre mad

-jackson may seem like a very nonchalant and chill guy but heâs very serious about your relationshipÂ
-if you two ever fight he does everything in his power to make sure that you two work things out because he canât stand the thought of losing you

-when he accepted a scholarship to his dream college you waited until you were at his house to give his face a shower of kisses................before he pushed you onto the couch and gave you a slow and passionate kissÂ
-letâs just say things got steamy after that (steamy like a ......mandu?) (IM SORRY I JUST HAD TO) (DONT HURT ME)Â
-can get a little jealous but itâs not aggressive or anything he just feels protective over youÂ
-when hoseok walked over to you to say hi as you were watching one of jacksons lacrosse games (while wearing his jersey of course) :
-hoseok:Â âhey youâre dating jackson righ-â
-jackson after having appeared next to you all of a sudden:Â â oH HELLO HOSEOK! I JUST COULDNâT HELP BUT NOTICE YOUâVE MET Y/N!!! HAHAâ
-you:Â âJACKSON ARENâT YOU IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME RIGHT NOWâ
-jaebum: JACKSON WEâRE PLAYING RIGHT NOW GET YOUR ASS BACK HEREâ
-jackson insists on joining you and your friend when you go shopping for your prom outfitÂ
-you end up taking the whole day to find the perfect outfit because jackson insists you look great in everything
-at every store jackson ends up having full on conversations with the other customers, the store manager, and that mannequin in the corner about how magical you lookÂ
-he picks you up the day of prom and goes to the extreme by renting a limo and youâre like JACKSON! TOO! EXPENSIVE! but heâs like youâre worth it baby!!
-when you walked out of your house with your outfit and hair and face all done up jackson looked at you with so much adoration and love in his eyes you felt butterflies form in your stomachÂ
-and when you fixed his tie he kissed your forehead and whispered that youâre the most breathtaking thing heâs ever seen
-he then takes you to his house where you meet his mom and dad (heâs so happy when you get along with his mom because he cares about her opinion so much)Â
-you guys end up taking so many pictures because jackson wants to do every couple pose imaginableÂ
-when you guys finally show up at prom, jackson immediately starts greeting people left and right with his hand never leaving the small of your backÂ
-whenever someone greets him he always makes sure to show you off and comment on how great you lookÂ
-jackson wins prom king and momo, the girl on the dance team, wins prom queenÂ
-but youâre not mad because you never wanted to be in the spotlight anyway
-and the way jackson looks at you even as heâs dancing with momo makes you feel like the most special person in the universe
-the night is full of jackson never leaving your side and doing the most ridiculous dance moves just to see you smile
-he also insists on going inside the photo booth 500 times because he wants to use every single prop
-eventually people start joining in on your guysâ photos until the whole booth is crowded
-jackson pouts because he only wants to take pictures with you but you feel your heart swell as you watch his friends and your friends laughing together as they pose ridiculously for the camera (bambam and the8 dabbing in the back, jaebum trying to look chic as ever, hyungwon making his usual meme face, etc.)Â
-instead of going to the prom after party, which literally everyone invited him to, jackson takes you to get ice cream at 3am because why not?
-graduation is a bittersweet day filled with bambam dabbing on stage and asking the principal why he spelled dabdab wrong on his diploma
-jinyoung pulled him off the stage by his collar as yugyeom and youngjae were cracking up behind himÂ
-when itâs your turn to receive your diploma jacksonâs screams are louder than the whole crowd combined and you feel yourself blushing as you can hear jackson yelling:Â âTHATS MY JAGIYA! IM SO PROUD OF YOU!! I CANT BELIEVE YOUâRE GRADUATING! YOUâRE SO GROWN UP! ARE YOU SEEING THIS MARK ARE YOU SEEING THIS?â
-mark:Â âim literally right next to youâ
-when jackson recieved his diploma you cheered as hard as you could and watched with proud eyes as jackson pulled the principal into a bear hug and searched the crowds for his parents before turning to you with that bright smile you fell in love withÂ
-after graduation, you and jackson spent time with each other everyday and hung out with your friends and his friends as much as you possibly could before they all left for college
-and even if you and jackson may be going to different colleges and you have no idea what will happen in the future, all that matters is now and the amount of love and appreciation you feel for each other, which is what motivates you to love him with all of your heart for as long as he allows you toÂ

-at graduation, jackson tried to pay mark $10 to do a backflip after he got his diploma
