The Plan | Marcus & Isaac Para
Isaac listened carefully to his theory, becoming greatly disturbed by the information. A machine? Could there be something powerful enough to do that? And what kind of machine. The animal instincts only come out if a werewolf feels threatened, immense anger, or the full moon. It also had to do with the blood and gravitational pull of the moon. Could there be a machine that fakes both? The thought was both enlightening and disturbing. Isaac knew he’d have to do more research into that. Maybe replicating something similar. And utilizing the help of his friends that were highly skilled in charms and potions like Logan or Katie. And Isaac was sure there were plenty of others. But for now, Isaac nodded, agreeing with everything Marcus was saying, knowing it was true, “A machine…I my have to tinker with something that could do something like that…research it. As for the ministry, I know it’s corrupt. My father wouldn’t be working there if it wasn’t. But it’s all strange with how much is seemingly ‘covered up’ for them.”
"That is oddly specific…telling them to quit Quidditch…" Isaac agreed, fumbling with his hands as he listened to Marcus continuing. It was all like a pool of water, becoming a puddle and becoming more and more clouded with dirt and other muddling things. Isaac rubbed his temples as if he were helping to solve a large, 100000 piece puzzle. And in truth, with everything and the surroundings, he was - even if it was only finding where one small piece went in the entire bigger picture. Looking up to Marcus in a serious manner, Isaac sighed, "This is a lot bigger than any of us, mate. And very, very dangerous. I’m going to do everything I an but…I don’t want people to get hurt because of us searching into this." he said, a little afraid something might happen if they found out too much.
Marcus looked at Isaac rather surprised by his reaction. He should have known though his friend was going to be curious to know how this rather dangerous machine worked. "Whatever happened that day in London was unnatural so I would bet a lot of precious things that it was a device of some kind that did it. As for what the machine was I would say go to Rhys and try to figure out but well it might be a bit too much for him to handle at the moment. So probably best to do some solitary research, I reckon for now." He nodded his head when Isaac said it seemed as if the Ministry had everything covered up. "The people running it the ones who are most likely running it probably are using all sorts of tactics to keep people silent and they definitely have the prophet spewing their agenda. It is rather amazing what they've been able to hide though."
Marcus nodded his head at his friend giving him a sad look. "Yeah it's definitely bigger than us and its dangerous as fuck. No doubts about it. It doesn't take massive amounts of information to deduce that. What I know is a lot of vague details and snippets it doesn't paint to clear of a picture in terms of where to go or what is really happening... what it does show is... things are bad and getting worse. We need to practice defense and we need to do research. As much as I know this is dangerous it is something I personally have to do. I can't sit back and let things unfold and I just can't do it. So I'm pushing forward but I wanted you to know in case something happens to me or who knows yeah? I also know from a source that memory charms seemed to be part of the cover up which is why I asked Emma to ask if you could make something where we can keep our secrets hidden but it can remind us if someone was to mess with us."
