The birds outside the dorm won't stop.
Is that uh—um, a bad thing?
Yes, because I just want to be able to sleep for once.
You look a bit down in the dumps, so...
"Here…"
Nathan, I hope you know that just made my day six times better.
The birds outside the dorm won't stop.
Silencing charm? You’re a witch, Naomi, remember? Maybe once you stop hearing those birds chirping, that scowl will drop from your face.
That wasn't necessary Briar, I am sorry if I haven't gotten sleep over the last couple of days and hearing birds chirp ends up getting on my last nerve. Oh, and I don't want to use magic all of the time, and I didn't have my wand with me at the moment. So, no, Briar I didn't use a silencing charm and I don't feel like using magic all the time, when it is just animals outside my window, and it bothers me. Can I just complain once? I guess not.
The birds outside the dorm won't stop.
They have been chirping for a whole day and won't stop.
the one person you can count on for a lifetime
I have a theory
that suggests that we all need a distraction, one that doesn’t consist of booze or drugs or tissues filled with snot and tears. The only problem with said theory is that my ideas end there. Suggestions? Let’s brainstorm, people.
That is an interesting theory, and we need to find another way that isn't harmful to our bodies or our selves. This is why I suggest going down to the lake as much as possible and going for a swim. Is that a good suggestion?
That these are the days that bind you together, forever
And these little things define you forever, forever
All this bad blood here, won't you let it dry?
It's been cold for years, won't you let it lie?
This is it, the apocalypse
I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
I'm radioactive
One track mind, one track heart
If I fail, I'll fall apart
Maybe it is all a test
Cause I feel like I'm the worst
So I always act like I'm the best
Eamus ad initium ➣ Naomi and Marcus
Everything was collapsing on top of her, realizing that sometimes her compassion and wanting to make sure that people were safe was not always a good thing. People had been grieving and mourning, and Autumn seeing her in that state, Naomi's automatic instinct was to help her and make sure that she was okay, but that isn't what the girl wanted. It took Naomi a little bit to process all of that, and realize that every single time she didn't have the ability to help, she didn't always get the chance to help people. Most of the time people did want her to be there and did want some comfort, but there are other times when people wanted to be left alone. Something that she needed to work on and realize, it was like what happened with Emma. An argument had started, and all Naomi really wanted to do was make sure that she was okay, but it went over the extreme, and the conflict had arisen from it. Naomi didn't want to get an argument, and things were said that she regretted and she wished that she could have made what she wanted to talk about clearer to Emma.
Naomi sat on the log by the lake, and put her hands in her pocket thinking about how she was going to resolve things with the red headed girl. she knew that she had been working on not having everyone's emotions, she knew that, but she always wanted to feel like she was being cared for at the same time, and feel like Emma was there for her. Everything had been all over the place recently, that she did need that comfort and when people didn't really show it to her, she had a hard time knowing that it was there. Naomi sat out and looked out at the lake, and thought to herself that she had just owled Marcus. Naomi had been so lost in her thoughts that she was dazing off into the distance not even realizing if Marcus was already there or not. Naomi turned her head to the side, near where the path was down to the lake, but the boy wasn't there yet. A sigh came from her dry lips, and she bit down on her bottom lip a little bit, but it hurt this time, not like it normally did. Closing her eyes, she put a finger up to her lip and rubbed off a little bit of blood, and then knew that she had to be more careful next time.
I have written you down
Now you will live forever
And all the world will read you
And you will live forever
In eyes not yet created
On tongues that are not born
I have written you down
Now you will live forever
If I told you things I did before, told you how I used to be
Would you go along with someone like me
If you knew my story word for word, had all of my history
Would you go along with someone like me
Never Said It Was Easy || Naomi & (Open)
The breeze hit the girl’s face, her hands in her lap, the hood of her jacket was covering the brunette hair, the little pieces still blowing in the wind though. Bitting her lip the girl looked down at her hands, trying to get over everything that was coming back into her mind. Naomi’s mind raced back to the crowded area, with the screams echoing her ear. Her hand was on her head, and she was trying to get through the crowd of people, the people who were fighting now, and could possibly injure her in the way to get back to where she could get help. Feet were running across the pavement, pushing past her, almost making her loose her balance, and then she felt a hand on her, as she moved to sit down. Then the memory stopped, and the flashback was gone. The memories were coming back in little tiny pieces at a time, and she wanted to be able to figure out what happened next, but just trying to get a grip on one part a time was what she needed to do. Closing her eyes, she leaned her head back on the tree by the lake, her fingers scraping against each other, causing a little bit of pain.
Naomi looked around and heard some noise coming from the bushes, and Naomi immediately pulled out her wand. Everything was not on high alert for her, just by hearing a sound she was ready to defend herself and protect anything, including herself or people around her. Her hand began to shake, and then she saw a little bird come out of the bushes, breathing in, and catching her breath again. Her alertness was high, but she needed to be able to not be afraid anymore, but since what just happened the girl wasn’t sure if that was even a possiblity at this point. Naomi sighed and then sat back down against the tree, and closed her eyes, letting her mind go.
