A collection of photos from my time in Reno, NV from Jan. 30 - Feb. 28, 2017. Some of these photos are from my work as a reporter/intern with Northern Nevada Business Weekly. Other photos are ones I took while in commute or at school. See captions for more information.
(1/1) Street dogs of Bengaluru Series
Street dogs in Bengaluru, India are a resilient and interesting bunch. During the day, these pups don’t do a whole lot. You’ll find them sleeping on the side of the road. But at night, they come alive. Bengaluru street dogs survive on a diet of masala scraps and garbage heaps. They’re extremely territorial. These dogs will claim a street as their own and if anyone, dog or human, come by their turf, these dogs will surely scare you away. For the most part though, Bengaluru street dogs are friendly creatures just trying to get by.
