Breathtaking Wire Sculptures Capture the Fluidity of the Human Body

English artist Richard Stainthorp captures the beautiful energy and fluidity of the human body using wire. The life-sized sculptures feature both figures in motion and at rest, expressed in the form of large-gauged strands that are densely wrapped around and through one another. By doing this, he gives the work an undeniable presence. Stainthorp also allows the bent wires to shine by keeping their metallic appearance free from any obvious painting or additions.

Photographer Kilian Schönberger created Brothers Grimm Homeland

German photographer Kilian Schönberger recently has presented his new project called “Brothers Grimm’s Homeland”, where author mixed photography with illustration. Big trees, dark homes and moody environment - these are the key elements that connected these photos with legendary Brother Grimm even more. Love it!

This painting confronts me. It is not about the sublime, the beautiful, it is about humbleness where the beauty doesnt matter. I also see those kinds of people that are blindly christian. They go to church and they pray and think they are good but then they dont live right and are agressive towards those that are not religious. The woman in the painting is a mixture of both “interpretations” making me feel guilty and threatened at the same time. The second interpretation makes be stand by my beliefs while the second shatters them.
