It wasn’t Ted’s birthday...

I saw Mumford and Sons for the first time two weeks ago in Zürich (Switzerland) and while I’m not new to their music, I didn’t know much about the band itself.

The performance was stunning and I enjoyed the show alot.

At one point Marcus said, he didn’t speak german very well, but there was one thing he could say: “Heute ist Teds Geburtstag!” (Today is Ted’s birthday) Of course everyone started cheering and he even told us to sing Happy Birthday to Ted and we did and I really thought it was his birthday.

Until I found this: 

THEY DO THIS EVERYTIME THEY’RE IN A GERMAN SPEAKING CITY! 

And that’s how I (and probably many others too) got fooled by Marcus Mumford.

Such dorks, I love them.
