If I'm going to be perfectly honest, social media has been a headache from top to bottom, it's tearing me from within and I'm genuinely suffering much, much more than you guys could ever imagine. Imagine if it was actually easy to quit. I could've quit. I should've, even. If my parents knew how devastating my mental state currently was, they would've deleted all my accounts head to toe and possibly even shut me off from the Internet. Oh well, my parents are strict and unsupportive as hell, so that doesn't speak much.

Actually, oftentimes I wished I didn't start a bsd-dedicated channel. I wished I never touched digital art. I wished I had never entertained the thought of a YouTube channel.

But oftentimes, I am truly proud of how far I've gotten, how much I've improved, everyone I've met on the way

Social media has and had always been a double-edged sword

Most of all, I wish I had made accounts, much later in life. You know, at an age that I'm actually more mature

Headache to headache, I doubted if I ever truly wanted, or needed this. The numbers blind me. The dopamine suffocates me. If it's just numbers and statistics then there wasn't anything going for me from the start.

This isn't a quitting post, but it feels like it.

Seeing people get so pissed at the theory made me support it (I love watching bigots get angry)

it is 19 years old, it lost a bet with its group of “friends” and had to put on some suspicious headset and that’s how it ended up at the circus

if you pat its head over and over again it’s eyes will change colors, Jax has a lot of fun with that

it can actually fly a little bit with its tiny ass wings

it has the odd ability to mimic any sound or voice it hears but it always sounds a little distorted

Skreech’s personality is like a mix between a cat and a parrot but it’s still like. Sentient yk like it can form thoughts n shit

Zine Schedule!

Happy Spring to our friends in the Northern Hemisphere and Happy Autumn to our buddies in the Southern Hemisphere! With this change of seasons, we thought it would be a great time to post our schedule!

Our schedule can, of course, be found on our carrd, and if you're interested in specific dates (like how contributor applications open April 1) you should check the schedule out over there, but it's also kind of fun to post the general schedule here too. ;)

As with many projects of this scope, this schedule is subject to change, but you can get the general idea!

-FEBRUARY-MAY- (right now!) APPLICATIONS PERIOD ------------------------------------------ Our interest check, mod applications, and then contributor applications happen! Because this is quite an old fandom and not everyone is actively following it, there may be more 'Guests' than a 'normal' fanzine.

----------------------------------------- -MAY- SEPTEMBER- CREATION PERIOD ------------------------------------------ Contributors make their wonderful pieces for you all! They are not allowed to share their pieces until after the zine ships out but the moderators may post some behind-the-scenes content for you all with the contributors' permission!
