#the writing is so either incurious or like deliberately avoidant about characters backstories and internal world #to uh keep the Le Mystery alive about their irl lives (which seems to be at least half of the problem #with characters not getting development is like this fucking......poisoned mentality of Theories actually affecting the source material)#but it never delivers on the hype ever #very annoying #like not only do you make every character inadvertently as cagey and secretive of their backstories as jax #which is boring but it also doesnt actualy consider characters as their own people #like are you going tj tell me gangle of all characters wouldnt be Traumadumping in that damn circus or that ragatha wouldnt be a gossip imo #anyways i mention this bcs visually theres so much put into the characters of the show #how they hold themselves and interact witg the world around them like In literally every scene #i just wish the writing was similiar #ifs such a good little sandbox what a waste of a concept #this post started by me thinking how gangle woukd operate a computer mouse btw lol #her and her strange ribbon-flipper
