there's so much crying. i can't do this.
Practically, he had fell silent, letting his ears take in the voice that left from the childâs mouth. A hand raised to his own lips, as if he was trying to quiet himself, not speak any words for he thought she would leave and or disappear. The Anons had fooled him many times, and when the subject of `Marga` was placed within a sentence, he just couldnât resist hearing out whatever they spoke.
Enthusiasm from her voice, yes, the blonde closed his eyes, not because he didnât want to see her, no. It was the only way that he could fight back the tears that he felt coming to him. It had been so long, he had missed the child from the 5th District and it only grew different to him that he wasnât able to live with her like old times. But now, he could have that right, he could if he allowed it. It was likely that his face would grow heated around the bridge of his nose as he took a step forward, holding out his arms towards the younger female.
It was okay to cry, right?
Well no one could tell Titus otherwise, the Alexius moving forward as he fell to his knees right before the younger one. Arms wrapping around her waist as he pulled her closer, she was warm, her body tangible and this only brought the blonde to hysterics. Voicing out his sobs, but was able to pause and state her name as well,
âMarga.â
The magician was more than happy, he didnât know how to consolidate his feelings at the moment as they all poured out into one entity. He didnât know how thankful he was, he was all sorts of ecstatic just to have her in his arms. He just couldnât let go, he didnât. He wanted her to stay there. Even from his muffled cries, the blonde had even lost his hat from his head as the tears strolled down flushed cheeks.
âI missed you so much.â
Tiny fingers clutched the sides of her dress while tiny toes curled up in anticipation as she waited for an answer to be said. A wide smile stretched her face despite the anxiety that caused her stomach to experience butterflies. Though she was very happy to see the magician again, there was reason for her to be somewhat hesitant about showing back up in front of the blond.
His prolonged silence only made it worse for her to deal with, but she kept that smile on her face. He had left so suddenly without a warning, that she could only think the worse. They too left without warning like everyone she seemed to come in contact with; Aladdin, Sphintus, Titus, her mother, leaving the poor child alone and confused. Maybe he left because he didn't want her around anymore, it would be very plausible. She was young, and could not do much, a burden once she thought about it. Marga could not blame him for leaving if that was the case; she was young, but not stupid.Â
The sudden action from the blond caused her to let out a small squeak of surprise. She was stunned in silence for a few short seconds, trying to process what was happening right now. This definitely was not the reaction she was expecting him to have. Hearing the sobs muffled by the fabric of her dress caused tears to burn the corner of her eyes. She blinked once, twice, unable to keep them from rolling down her down her cheeks as she threw her arms around the older's neck.
"I...I missed you too." She choked out, finally able to find her voice. "I was worried. But I get to see you again so it's okay...I'm happy." Her earlier feelings quickly dissipated and were replaced with ones of pure relief. To know that they were able to spend time together again made the child unbelievable happy. To know that he still cared for her the same way made her even more so. He wouldn't leave her again anytime soon; they'd be together for a long time, just like he promised.
