The softness in Sam's gaze when Bucky's not looking, the reverence in Bucky's when he looks at Sam... Sam touching Bucky to ground him, to calm him down; Bucky never letting go of an opportunity to touch Sam, without rhyme or reason sometimes... They're 'just two guys', but they are able to be their most vulnerable in front of the other ("If he was wrong about you, he was wrong about me" , "Steve made a mistake"). They're not partners but they can't bear the thought of the other getting hurt. But they don't care about each other, nope. 🙂‍↕️
