“Except the heartless and the Grinch, yes,” Eric joked as he looked at Margaux. “They’re all cute, but I’m just not a huge fan of pastel,” he admitted with a frown as he scratched the back of his neck. “Still, cookies are nice, I’ll admit that.”
“I can’t believe I forgot about him.” A manicured hand instantly covered her mouth in mock terror, although the expression on her face didn’t last long. “Do you mind if I drag you in with me? I haven’t had good cookies for a long bloody time and I can’t just let this opportunity slip past me.”
