What does everybody actually think of Wanderrose?

Let me get this out of the way and offer my thoughts on the ship: I do not ship Wanderrose. I’m not a fan of the ship. The idea of Wanderlust and Jack Rose being implied half-brothers makes me incredibly weary of the ship—I know you could argue that it’s only “implied” which doesn’t mean it’s canon and how Just Dance could debunk this at any time, but what if whenever Just Dance finishes their main lore they actually make them being half-brothers canon? I don’t want to ship Wanderlust and Jack only just to find out I’ve been shipping half-brothers the whole time, and I’m sure many people feel the same way.

I know a lot of Just Dance fans were probably shipping them before they made them implied half-brothers—however, admittedly I still think it’s a little odd that when it was revealed that they’re implied half-brothers, people continued to ship them. It’s not like they implied that they were stepbrothers (it would still be weird to ship them if they were stepbrothers btw)—they’re implied HALF-brothers, meaning they’re blood-related in some way. They share a parent. I know some people’s logic in this fandom is that implied ≠ canon which I agree with to a point, but I still think it’s a little odd that people still continue to ship them even after they revealed Wanderlust and Jack Rose might be related.

Do I think the ship is a proship? If you think that, you’re entitled to that opinion. There’s a decently valid argument to be made on why it’s a proship—they’re implied to be half-brothers and if it’s ever confirmed that they’re half-brothers, people would have been shipping half-siblings this whole time, which is obviously incredibly disgusting.

Are you still allowed to ship Wanderrose? To each their own. While I’m not a fan of the ship personally, I won’t attack or harass anyone who ships Wanderrose because I’m not that type of person. I won’t spam “proship! proship! proship!” on anyone’s post or art about the ship and call them a proshipper for shipping Wanderlust and Jack together. I’m sure most of the people who ship Wanderrose do not support shipping siblings and only ship Wanderrose because their logic is implied ≠ canon. Most people will probably stop shipping it if it’s ever confirmed that they’re half-brothers. If Wanderlust and Jack Rose do ever get confirmed to be related, I’m not going to make a whole post laughing at all of the artists who have to delete all of their Wanderrose art or comment on older Wanderrose art berating them for shipping them because I’m not a dick. If it’s ever debunked that they’re siblings however then the Wanderrose shippers have nothing to worry about.

At the end of the day, if you’re going to ship Wanderrose, ship it. If you’re not going to ship Wanderrose, don’t ship it. I will continue to not ship it myself because I don’t want to feel like I’m walking on sharp knifes and glass any time I want to considering shipping it—however, if you ship Wanderrose, then more power to you. If Wanderlust and Jack Rose are ever confirmed to be half-brothers, I’m assuming most people will drop the ship because most people in this fandom are not proshippers. Nobody knows when this will be confirmed or debunked—Just Dance hasn’t (and maybe won’t) finish their main lore so the idea of Wanderlust and Jack Rose being half-brothers is still ambiguous. You’re allowed to ship it if you want, but I recommend for everybody to be cautious and take into consideration that Wanderlust and Jack Rose could be confirmed to be half-brothers at any time.

If you’re going to comment on this post, please try to be civil. I tried to be incredibly neutral and respectful and did not direct this post to any specific people who ship Wanderrose and makes Wanderrose art—I expect everyone to do the same. We can be mature about this.

When I was making this post, I was originally going to add a picture of all of these skins so you can see what each of them look like. I even tried making this post on my computer because since you can post up to 30 files on Tumblr, I thought I would have no problem showcasing what all of the skins—however, when I got to High Hopes P2 and attempted to add an image of one of the Angela skins, it told me I reached the limit on files for this post. You might just have to google what each of these skins look like or just think all of this sounds accurate and take my word for it 💔

I also added 1-2 skins for some of the coaches for each of their mains. Originally I headcanoned that some of them would only use maybe one specific skin for their mains but as I was looking through some of the characters’ skins, sometimes I thought “actually ykw I think this coach would use this skin too” and considering the fact that I’m very indecisive, I gave some coaches 1-2 extra skins for one or all of their mains. Another reason I can’t properly add a picture of what all of these skins look like 💔

I made a Pokémon team for Womanizer!

Womanizer’s Pokémon team consists of Glameow, Froslass, Meowstic, Oricorio (Sensu Style), Salazzle, and Tsareena.

I went for sassy looking Pokémon and Pokémon that are only female or Pokémon that are mostly female. “Womanizer” is about exposing and calling out a serial cheater (a “womanizer”). The song serves as a direct warning to manipulative men, letting them know that women are fully aware of their deceitful games. “Womanizer” gets its message across through female empowerment and the rejection of gaslighting tactics, which is why I chose Pokémon that are always female or mostly female.

In honor of Pride Month, what if Ubisoft were to make a limited time playlist for queer-coded and LGBTQ+ maps in Just Dance that was available during all of June?

If Ubisoft were to make a queer-coded playlist, here are routines that I think would be a good fit. When I say “queer-coded,” I’m referring to maps or coaches that could be interpreted as queer-coded or LGBTQ+, the coach(es) of songs that are canonically LGBTQ+, or the artist of a song is LGBTQ+:

Btw, pretty much all of the Lady Gaga maps in Just Dance would be included in this playlist. Lady Gaga herself is bisexual but I didn’t list every single Lady Gaga song in Just Dance because there is so many of them 😭 (I think the only Lady Gaga songs I listed are the songs with LGBTQ+ coaches because I wanted to make sure I didn’t forget them)

I had to do a TON of research to conjure up this playlist, especially when trying to find which artists in Just Dance are LGBTQ+. However, it’s very much possible that I missed quite a few maps. If I did, I sincerely apologize. I scrolled through the wiki for every Just Dance game to find and include the songs I did. There was a LOT of songs I scrolled through so it’s very much possible I missed quite a few songs that could be included here and again I’m sorry for that. If there’s any song I may have missed that could be interpreted as queer-coded, kindly point it out!

I was originally going to include You’re the First, the Last, My Everything and while I do think the map is quite queer-coded, I’m not going to include them here. I feel like people would accuse me of being biased because it’s one of my favorite maps in all of Just Dance and probably wouldn’t see it as queer-coded. I have a feeling me including You’re the First, the Last, My Everything would be seen as me shoving them into everything I talk about. You guys hear me talk You’re the First, the Last, My Everything enough anyways and likely get tired or annoyed by me talking about them all of the time so I’ll leave them out of something for once.

Jokes aside, I made a Pokémon team for Mashed Potato Time!

Mashed Potato Time’s Pokémon team consists of Chansey, Cherubi, Heat Rotom, Audino, Cinccino, and Indeedee.

The theme I tried to go for was nurturing and care-giving type of Pokémon + Cherubi because Mashed Potato Time has cherries on her wallpaper in the background of her routine. I almost put Kangaskhan on the team but then I remembered me and a friend who is a fan of Mashed Potato Time agreed on a headcanon where Mashed Potato Time is unable to have children so I thought putting Kangaskhan would be kinda “😬”

A few of the Pokémon on Mashed Potato Time’s team are meant to represent some of the different activities she performs in her routine: Chansey is meant to represent holding a baby, Heat Rotom is meant to represent cooking (they had ovens in the 1960s, right???), and Cinccino is supposed to represent cleaning (kinda since Cinccino is incredibly tidy).

I apologize for not being active for over a month. During that time I was stressed with my classes and due to that stress I was not motivated to post anything because I was so stuck on getting everything done and making sure my grades are satisfactory. However, now that I’m finished with all of my classes, I can freely post now! I’ll try to be more active, I missed this fandom 🩷

Characterizing You’re the First the Last My Everything P2 is so hard for me because idk if I should characterize him as a calm and collected businessman or like someone who’s actually pretty silly

By this image, P2 appears calm, collected, and poised. And since the wiki describes him as a businessman, I feel like realistically he should be somebody who’s very sophisticated, formal, and proper.

However, the actual routine tells a different story.

While the four of them were standing in the elevator, P2 is the first to dance. I feel like someone who is supposed to be a businessman and be very calm, collected, and poised, it feels kind of informal to be in the first to dance in an elevator full of strangers you don’t know 😭

Not to mention this silly little dance he does when it’s time for each coach to have their own little solo dance… (grown man btw)

It’s genuinely so hard for me to characterize this man. I feel like he ahould be a calm, collected businessman because that’s what he appears as. However, given how he acts in the actual routine, maybe not??? Maybe he’s a calm, collected businessman while at work but when he’s with P1, P3, and P4 (I headcanon that the four of them became best friends after this routine), he’s more silly and fun but still a calm, collected businessman???
