Made something quick because I need to address the Humanz issue:

I remember last year, I was in bed, 4th consecutive day of doing so in a very agoraphobic and depressive year of my life. Suddenly I get a notification on my phone: an invitation to the Spirit House Party where they’d play in advance the new Gorillaz album after 7 long years of hiatus: Humanz. I got on my feet and put on my fave Gorillaz T and there I was, walking all excited, following a compass on my phone guiding me to Plaça Catalunya. And as soon as I got there, I could see the Spirit House floating on top of the square and I was hearing, finally, new stuff from the band I had ben listening to since I was 9 years old. I found it fantastic! In fact, I loved Momentz so much that I stayed there listening to the whole thing one more time only to hear it again. I went back home happier than ever, the music was brilliant, so many amazing collaborations and such an unique sound. That was an album like no other Gorillaz album. In fact it sounded like no other thing I had heard before. Fell in love with so many songs that I couldn’t choose a favourite, soon to realize that it had to be indeed my favourite Gorillaz album. But what happened? Apparently some people just found it too weird, the things I found most interesting about the album became reason of hatred for others. And the big issue: NOT ENOUGH 2D SINGING! Seriously, tho? I mean, for those who still think that was a problem I’d like to recommend a band called Blur, not many people know about it but heard 2D sings in every single one of the 8 albums. You’re welcome ;) Like what went wrong? didn’t we fall in love with Gorillaz in the early 2000 because of it’s unique sound? because of the many awesome collaborations? didn’t they deliver EXACTLY that?

But no, you had to go on shitting on it until you convinced Damon himself that the album was somehow crap. And now(now) you’re treating The NowNow as an apology from Damon for not having gone the Gorillaz mainstream way and the worst part is that it really feels like an apology and not a musical project. Although I fucking love it as well. But seriously, guys, Damon doesn’t owe you SHIT and YOU are the ones owing him and the whole band an apology.
