A Little Honesty from a Working Mama 💓
I didn’t think I’d be affected, but hearing stories and judgments against us still stings. Some people question our hustle and our efforts as if what we’re doing isn’t enough. Yes, we can’t please everyone, but it hurts knowing that deep down, all we want is to give our child a better life. That’s why we keep pushing, even when life gets tough.
We may not have much, but everything we do comes from hard work and love. So if we get to enjoy a good meal, take a little trip, or buy something nice once in a while, why take it against us? We didn’t do anything wrong, and we definitely didn’t do anything to you.
We’re juggling so many things, I’m working, baking, and taking care of our child, while my partner works and drives part-time. It’s not easy, but we keep going because this is life. It’s not always a bed of roses, and that’s okay. What hurts the most is when the loudest critics are the ones who’ve never helped us, yet they’re the quickest to belittle or laugh at our struggles.
We may not be rich, but we’re working hard to reach our goals, and that’s something to be proud of. I just needed to get this off my chest. I’ll leave everything to God, especially those who choose to judge and look down on others instead of understanding them. 🤍
