In all the story the author describes island parts and houses so the map is very important for understanding the book.
Honestly
It's not the best book, sometimes the author loses her mind and writes about other things that are not really important like details that are not really necessary. But the book keeps you with the intrigue and you really want to know what was the accident and why.
