this picture is from almost a year ago when i was actually on campus. i’m missing these peaceful moments and quiet study spaces a little bit extra today. even more, i’m missing the moments i spent with friends on campus that were pure joy. even in the midst of busy seasons, i hope you are all staying in touch with the people who make you feel loved and your heart feel warm!

🌼life update//09.06.20🌼

so, life has been pretty crazy the past few weeks and not in a good way...we did make it to myrtle beach but... we are currently already on our way back home to missouri. a friend had to come rescue us because we got stuck in a pretty mentally and verbally abusive situation. my friend booked a hotel halfway home in nashville to try to cheer us up so that’s where we are at the moment.😕 i did start classes on the 24th and im trying to keep my grades up currently! trying to stay positive. will keep you all updated.

sorry i haven’t posted in a hot minute! i plan on continuing the #summerstudyingchallenge soon! i am currently in the process of moving across the country and have been extremely busy! i also start my fall semester classes at the end of the month! i will continue posting once we have finished moving and settled in💛

i’ve been very busy the past week so this is gonna be a big one 😘

What is your dream vacation?

my dream vacation would definitely be a vacay to liverpool, england! i have been a very big beatles fan since i was like 4 so that would mean the absolute world to me and i would be in awe the WHOLE TIME❤️😫

What is the worst vacation you have been on?

oh wow the worst vacation i have been on was the time i snuck to disney world. it was my 18th birthday and my friend was already on vacation there and i was stuck in missouri. we wanted to spend my 18th birthday together so i bought a plane ticket and left the next morning... i have been to florida before and i don’t like the humidity... i had my hair straightened and it was just a hot, sticky nightmare.😌

What is your favorite vacation memory?

the time me and my friends planned a trip to oahu together in high school... me and one of my friends who i was suuuuper close to for years was going too... but we had not talked in months because we got into a fight. this memory is my favorite because we both went to the f21 in oahu at different times separate from each other but we later found out we had bought the same exact shirt and it made us giggle and brought us closer again 🥰

What is your favorite event or day in the summer? Are you a ‘summer person’ or do you prefer when it’s colder?

my favorite event in the summer is my birthday, june 11th. despite my birthday being in the summer i definitely prefer it to be cold... i prefer fall and winter that is my absolute favorite time of the year!

What is your typical daily routine in the summer?

hmmm i don’t currently have a daily routine because each of my days have been so hectic this summer... ive has a lot of school work, regular work, family emergencies, and im in the process of moving halfway across the country all at the same time😰

Do you stay indoors or outdoors more in the summer?

like i said above i hate when its too hot... but i love swimming so? but i still stay indoors more lol

Do you usually go on vacation during the summer?

eh, i don’t go on big vacations too often but, during the summer me and my friends go on mini vacations to places nearby for fun. we’ve found several places that we didn’t know about before that we love to go to now. if you’re someone like me who doesn’t like to stay in the same place for too long i definitely recommend doing something like that!

What is the best vacation you have ever been on?

the best vacation i have been on would have to be to oahu with my friends for my 17th birthday! there were a lot of shenanigans and we basically explored the whole island. i wish i had taken more pictures while we there though😩 i always get so caught up in what we’re doing and forget to take pictures! oh well!

What is the most important task that you need to complete this summer?

i would say the most important task i need to complete this summer is... finding an apartment in SC... that’s been super stressful the past week because we need to be moving by like 8/17...

What do you usually do during the summer?

i usually work, draw, play video games, sleep, and hang out with my friends! this is my first time taking summer classes this year tho so this summer has been different than usual! im not mad about it tho!

Do you have a lot of work to do for school or university or your job this summer?

OH. MY. GOSH. YES. yes yes 😭 im doing full time summer classes right now so everything is accelerated... i have an exam every week on top of two quizzes every week and a 5 page paper due every other week😭. also im currently working as a medical assistant! on top of all that me and my husband are looking at apartments and jobs for when we move halfway across the country in like 3 weeks😰 GEESH!

Do you have a specific goal for this summer?

my goal for this summer is to jump back into illustrating more often again! i am so happy i have a passion for drawing again because for so long i felt too insecure to draw. i always felt like my art was never good enough but im so glad im rediscovering my style and share it with everyone once im comfortable!!! ❤️

Have your plans changed at all since the pandemic?

no, my plans haven’t really changed at all the plan is to just kick ass and get moved out to south carolina right now and nothing is interfering with that goal so far!
