Heartthrob
Yandere scale (by how intense they are): 4.5/5
Movie sypnosis:
Sam Maddox, a troubled girl whose father committed suicide, has earned a reputation at her high school for being a bit promiscuous. When Sam begins seeing brilliant, MIT-bound Henry Sinclair, the two opposites really attract. Although Sam doesn't realize it, Henry is in the grip of an insane romantic obsession, and he will kill anyone who tries to put an end to his star-crossed - and increasingly deadly - romance.
Wow. I loved the movie. It was just the right amount of thriller and romance for me.
The main character Sam was really sweet and likable so it makes sense why she's the darling of a yandere. She also has a troubled past both in her life and in romantic relationships. Sam was used to be treated for just hook ups and never had anything serious, even though she longed for one. She was also treated like a bimbo and an idiot even though she's not one. So when Henry the yandere comes, she was treated great and Henry was genuinely curious about her, he also was looking for something serious and didn't looked down on Sam. So it makes sense why Sam fell in love with him.
Now the yandere, Henry was my favorite part of the film. He is a really intense yandere. You can see that he geniunely love Sam but just a little too much. He is also really smart, and from a well off family. Throughout the film from the beggining to the end, he was a geniune creep. He is also did a lot of messed up things likes sneaking into Sam's house to watch her sleep, bugging her phone to hear all her conversations and the sound of her breathing, breaking Sam's car so she will ride with him and many more. Not to mention he also killed two people out of pure jealousy and ties up his own mom.
The ending was bittersweet and Henry kinda redeems? himself but I'm not gonna spoil it, just watch the movie. I highly recommend it.
Overall I rate the film a 9/10.

Movie sypnosis in wikipidea (may contain spoilers):
Lala Anindhita (Putri Marino) is a platform diving athlete in her final year of high school in Jakarta. Since her mother passed away, she feels her world is complete with her father (who is also her trainer), and her two friends, Rino (Chicco Kurniawan) and Ega (Gritte Agatha). Even though her father is quite strict, Lala remains good-spirited.
At school, while helping her teacher, Lala meets Yudhis Ibrahim (Adipati Dolken), a transfer student who immediately gets into trouble with a teacher. The two students are disciplined and they are made to walk the around the school oval with their shoelaces tied to each other's. They are humiliated in front of the whole school, but they bond through the experience and later start dating.
Lala's father, while nonchalant about her dating, begins to notice that her athletic and academic discipline is wavering. At the same time, Yudhis begins to show possessive behaviour and wants Lala to be by his side at all times.
The movie is really just above two people who are in a toxic relationship. The movie also brings awareness of people on abusive relationships and how to get help. I found this movie through asian crush (which I reccomend you to visit, they make top tier video titles and descriptions) and the guy acted like a yandere so I watched it, its available in netflix.
The movie starts off like any typical rom coms and started introducing our main character Lala. I think they did a really good job in the beginning because it makes us viewers like and know Lala. It makes us understand why Lala is like this, a little naive and have little romantic knowledge. The side characters too are also good, especially Lala's male bestfriend. I also liked how the movie was filmed which is a bonus point.
Now the yandere Yudhis, is good. At the start of the movie he was a little creepy and then becomes an actual creep in the middle of the movie. He did some pretty bad things too like, sabotaging someone, guilt tripping Lala, hurting Lala's friend etc. He's really possessive and wants to be around Lala all the time. The reason Lala fall for him is because he knows how to manipulate people around him and always appear charming, plus he's rich too.
I reccomend you guys to watch this movie if you're into yanderes, you can watch this in netflix or just go to asian crush in youtube and search asian crush posesif.
Overall I rate the movie an 8/10.

Sura's lover
Yandere scale (by how intense they are): 4.5/5
Deep in the mountains is a village that offers prayers to the mythical Asura/Sura in order to stay protected. Doctor ‘Cho-ah’ who lives in the doctor’s town ends up saving a mysterious man named ‘Mujin’. This encounter marks the end of Cho-ah's peaceful days as he gets caught up in a whirlwind of events.
This was I think the manhwa that got me into yanderes so I might be a bit bias. The manhwa is yaoi so warning for that because it will include nsfw. The concept was really intriguing to me and the actual content got me hooked.
The main character cho ah is quite likable for me and has his own charms, so its not hard to believe someone becomes a yandere for him.
Now the yandere himself is my favorite part and his name is mujin
He's a believable yandere because he actually has good reasons of why he becomes one for cho ah. He was saved by cho ah and was treated with kindness for the first time in his life.
Now mujin here has a pretty dark past that slowly gets revealed as the story continuous, which for me is really good and kept me guessing.
Mujin is a pretty fucked up guy who has done terrible things and I doubt he will change. He's a really intense yandere who has done a lot to cho ah like gaslighting him, framing him for things he didn't do, feeding him drugs etc. I wont reveal the plot much because I dont want to spoil you guys. He is also really easily jealous and possessive just like other yanderes.
Just read the manhwa if you want to see an intense yandere who will do anything even kill and hurt other people just to get his beloved.
Overall I rate this an 8/10.
Hi! Welcome to my blog. This will be about me just posting anything related to yanderes and primarily giving yandere recs. This blog is still new so I'll slowly fill it up over time. By the way english is not my first language so my sentences might be a bit cluncky. I hope you enjoy your stay.
