AT THE OF THE DAY WHAT IS MY PERSONAL BRAND? MY IDENTITY?

Uff, This journey has been fulled of challenges,emotions, discovers/findings and learnings. At the beginning, my goal was being able to create a strong personal brand which people can remember me for something specific.

THAT'S A WRAP!!! that's it, I finished the semester and I am happy to say that this time, I was able to do it (i know what i mean). The day I was selecting what assignments I was going to see, especially the electives, I had no idea what I wanted, but as soon as I read the description of this assignment I was pretty interested in taking it, I knew that I wanted to boost my confidence(actually gain) and enhance my skills. I remember that the description said that you were going to be able to communicate in the most effective way and I wanted to do that.

I consider that I learnt how to do it in a best way, It helps me to be aware that I ALREADY have a personal brand, but I had no idea about it. I enjoyed the tasks, the activities, the fact that we had to create a blog and an e-book just for us. it was so amazing and interesting and the class as well, because the mood of the teacher and her personality was so good that you could feel comfortable and interested in the class. Besides, it allowed me to know new people which was something amazing. I think it might be helpful in a future, as the teacher said "you don't know, maybe the person who you talked, or greet here might be your colleague or your boss or he/she might help you to find a job" the NETWORKING is the key!.

Having said that, I wanted to mention that the way you dress up, you talk, you look at someone, you write an email, you write a blog, a message, if you smile or not, what you post on social media, all of that matter. EVERYHTING speaks and it is about you, it is who you are.

On the other hand, finding the purpose in this life is definitely so hard and fight for your dreams is even more difficult but despite that; you have to FIND your purpose, your IKIGAI, because if you don't figure it out, you won't be able to find the right path.

As a conclusion, I would like to thank the teacher because her optimism, mood and for sharing her knowledge with us. I really liked the class, The way that we were able to sparked our creativity and be free in doing the tasks was something that i really liked.

THE OUFIT IN WHICH I FEEL MORE POWERFUL

I would like to start with this quote because I think it is very accurate to put it here and as a reminder as well.

Self-confidence definitely is the best oufit you can ever wear. Regarding the video we saw "enclothed cognition" the way we dress up really conveys they way we feel or what we want to communicate. That's why I really love fashion because it is not only clothing, but also a way you can transmit your emotions, thoughts and feelings.It is a way of art.

Having said,choosing what is my favorite outfit was kind of tough because I really love some of them not just one; however I decided that they are these ones:

MY FAVORITE PLACE IN THE UNIVERSITY

WHAT DO YOU THINK IS IT?

At the beginning I had no idea what was my favorite place, actually I had never asked myself that before, I am here 1 year ago and despite I really liked the campus the first time I saw it, I didn't know what could be the place that I liked the most. But now analyzing it a little bit better I would say that it is the nature, the green spaces the university has since I feel more comfortable in the nature and it conveys this. However, the UR STREAM which is the building you can watch here, it is another place i really like because it is modern, i like the design and the architecture of it. I think it is place where you can feel relax but at the same time productive because the laboratories and professional indeed :). Maybe it would even better if this would have been more colorful inside.

DO YOU WANT TO FEEL AS IF YOU WERE IN POLICE SERIE?

THIS IS THE PLACE!!

The gessel chamber is place that since the first time I saw it, I thought: "Wow it is very cool". This is a lab in the management faculty in my university and it is very interesting. I would like that teachers do some classes there but I have just been there like 2 times which is a shame :( because i think that the teachers don't use the labs as they should to do the classes more dynamics and entertaining. I think these type of labs help us a lot to put into practice what we have learnt during the different semesters.

I really like this place because you can analyze the people's behavior and their answers and maybe who knows, understand a little bit their personal brand. Despite if you are in the chamber inside or as an observer, both are very interesting.

I really enjoyed the process and the knowledge I have learnt so far.

I am more aware about my personal brand and some things that I had no idea I had.

I consider that it is practice, I mean, firm up more my personal brand. What I have to do is brushing up on the things we've seen to apply them in my life. I learnt that definitely the personal image, identity, in general, the personal brand is VERY ESSENTIAL,because it is the way you can build up your life. It is your essence,it is how other people perceive you the first time they see you.

MOODBOARD+REFLECTION

This moodboard defines a little bit who I am, What I like and the things in which I can see myself or just feel identified with.

I think this is very useful to consolidate all of our essence. The people who we are. Besides, it helps to identify how we perceive ourselves and to be more aware about the things we can convey and to highlight certain things to be more memorable when a person looks at us. In addition to that, It helps me to know what I want to add to my moodboard that i don't have there. Perhaps, I would like to add some things to my personal brand.

This represents our personality in a certain way and our personal brand as well. The thing is that it is not easy to realize what is our personal brand which is actually something that everybody has. So that, I know that I have one but I want to be more aware about it.

To sum up, I really liked the activity and even more because I love doing digital collages and moodboards because it is another way to let fly my creativity and let it flow. Besides I enjoy doing this because I like watching pictures on pinterest, it is really cool and relaxing.

My opinion about the exercises:

It was amazing, I really enjoyed and I think it is very helpful to recognize and evidence how other people perceived you at the first time. The way they perceived was the following:

Inspiring,friendly, warm in Character.

Honest and personal in Tone.

Simple in Language

Engage in purpose.

I was amazed because when I did my own framework I wrote how I WOULD LIKE/LOVE perceived me,for instance I would like people know me as a inspire person and confident because i think it is very important.

And as soon as we shared our opinions of how they perceived each other, they told me that they perceive me inspiring,friendly,warm and honest. So that, it was interesting because i know they were telling the truth because that was the first time we talked.

I had no clue that people thought those things about me.

WHAT MAKES ME UNIQUE? WHAT´S MY VALUE PROPOSITION?

It's a question that it is not easy to answer,don't you think? Sometimes we can answer this question when it is about other people but for instance if I asked you:

What are your strengths? Why a company should hire you?

Likely this is not gonna be easy to you to answer it.

The essence each person has is the most important and more valuable thing you might have. I consider that my personality is unique, I am unique because I don't have the exact beliefs than other person or the same likes.

I am interested in fashion, environment, books, music,paintings,mental health. However,it is not in the same way

To me it's not been easy to trust myself, having confidence is one of the most important

REFLECTION ABOUT IKIGAI MAP

I would like to start saying that I love this task; however it was a little bit challenging for me because as human beings we are not get used to say or acknowledge good things about ourselves.Well, in my case is somehow difficult. Especially the strengths and things that I am good at. So that, I draw some conclusions about the activity:

First of all, I learnt that it is ok recognize our skills and capabilities because it allows us to be aware about what we have or what we WANT TO have.

Secondly, It helped me to identify my purpose of life which is one of THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS you have in life (find your purpose).I understood that i need to have a purpose,a reason to wake up in the morning, to do the things I want, i don't want to live as automatically pilot.

Third, I don't want to be just alive, I want to LIVE.

Enjoy my life and do the things I love, besides, I think it is very important establish or set up goals for medium but also, for long haul.

The most difficult aspect to fill out in the IKIGAI was the "what you can be paid for" section. However, i think it is ok going step by step and trust the process.

As a conclusion, I would say that the IKIGAI map is fundamental and a very useful tool to be aware and recognize why i am here, and what i want to do.

REFLECTION ABOUT EMOJI ACTIVITY

Personally, I love the activity because I found out that it is not as easy as it seems. There are a hundred of emojis so that, It wasn't easy choose just 7. However, I believe that this activity helps me to identify my personality and the values that I have but in a funny way.

Some of them coincidence with the usual emojis I use; but not of all of them. This a good starting point to identify my personal brand which is something that I really want to do and enhance it.

Having said that, the activity is a good way to express ourselves and show others in 7 little "pictures" about who I am, what I like, what I enjoy.

To sum up the emoji activity shows up other people and even ourselves our identity without telling any word.

Because sometimes An image speaks more than thousand of words. But... In this case, would I say an emoji?
