This series was created as part of a Queer Comics exhibition for MELT, Brisbane Powerhouse’s annual festival of LGBT arts and culture. Collections 1, 2, and 3 present a selection of moments and concepts that reflect queerness as a holistic experience. The pages gather images of the artist’s personal life including her grandmother’s living room, her high school uniform, and her first girlfriend’s favourite incense.

24 HOUR COMIC 2016

24 Hour Comic day is an annual event that challenges artists to create 24 pages of comic in 24 consecutive hours, all with no prior planning or preparation.

This comic is Marianna's first attempt at a 24 hour comic. It is technically not a successful attempt, as only 12 pages were completed, but it will definitely not be the last time that she takes part in this challenge.
