Does anyone else feel awkward for liking NSFW games and not for the NSFW stuff?

Like games like DOL, BTD, any Gatobob game, YBF, Huniepop, Euphoria, recently Happiness Fix, the list honestly goes on for me. I get so attached to specific characters and their stories that I actually forget their source is PORN. Or at least heavily 18+.

It feels like I can't talk about them anywhere. Because I fear I'll be slimed out by people if they knew I heavily selfship with Strade due to personal reasons. Like this guy would ACCEPT the ugly parts of my schizotypal and be interested enough of my extreme emotions, he wouldn't get upset if I was sad and crying or angry. That's not all of it, but I don't want this post to be paragraphs long. This is also not the only example of characters I've grown attached to.

I would be slimed out by the selfship community, and I would be slimed out in the ykmet btd community. It feels awkward to just be the inbetween. I like these games, but not for the actual purpose of it.

Note: this is not me trying to say it's wrong to like these games for their actual purpose or be uncomfortable by them. Everyone is different, this is just my personal experience!
