Oh my God!! I just finished All Hail Chaos and it was amazing. I am really impressed with how real and at the same time fictional all the characters felt. A special shout out to Marius, his adorable sister and Rae.

In celebration of all hail chaos- I drew lady Rae and lady Lia. I’m listening to the audiobook right now and it’s amazing

Toxic lesbian zombies

Hide and seek. The idea of this illustration was a young demigod playing hide and seek with his mother, a goddess. Generally speaking, I’m not a very good artist when it comes to drawing a nature and light so there’s a bit of a challenge for me. I do however know that I cannot get better if I don’t practice, at the same time I hate that trial and error includes errors

She doesn’t actually have a red eyes in the story but I wanted them to match with the wolves. that’s also why her head is turned to the side like theirs are

A character portrait. I imagine those as one of those little portraits people used to give each other to keep close

There is something so tragic about Maias childhood and his mom life, and I love that she seems so kind and that she had so much love in her heart for her son - especially when his dad couldn’t, or wouldn’t love him

Almost finished listening to Tomb of Dragons.

Because I don’t have a physical copy, I can’t check the details! Like, I realised Thara’s conversation with Maia takes place in winter, so there wouldn’t be roses out (I’m not changing it). And I remember all the lovely fuss over a jacket, but I can’t remember exactly how it looked. So apologies if there are inaccuracies.

Mostly, I wanted to draw a kind and overworked Csevet!

I really like the idea of showing the contrast between the white page and the red silhouette of the city. It also just felt very Kaz to have all the hands there, and the shadows reaching out and touching him
