I went into the liquor store next to school out of desperation looking for zicam of all things. When the owner greeted me, I told him I'd never been in there before (which was true) and was exploring. When I left, he gave me two drinks! He was in the middle of restocking this little mini fridge on the front counter and apparently they just came in or something. I thanked him profusely, he told me to have a nice day, and I put a few dollars in the tip jar on my way out. Being nice to people really does pay off, huh...or maybe he was just happy that a college student didn’t go near the alcohol section for a change?
