6 October 2016 - Great wall
Getting here was so insane !!! We cached the bullet train from Tianjin to Beijing, then metro to the bus station and hopped on a bus that would take us to a town close to Mutianyu Great Wall where we would then have to catch another bus to the Scenic Spot ... that was all fine. Until a man hopped onto the bus, pointed at the 4 of us and told us to get off the bus. We all looked ast each other confused, but the man carried on insistinng so we got of the bus. Our bus left beore we even knew waht was going on and then the man said that for 20 YUAN each he would take us to the great wall. We didn´t really have any other choice as our bus left so we agreed and hoped to go we wern´t beeing kidnapped. In the taxi the guy showed us a leaphlet about the Mutianyu Great Wall and we all calmed down as that kind of assured us we were going to the right place. GREAT !!!
When we got there the man took us to the tickets office and told us to WeCach him in around 2h and he would pick us up. INCREADIBLE :)
We could of paid to take a chair lift up but we decided to do it properly and walk up to the wall. Well, more of a CLIMB the friking mountain to got to the bloodly wall. Yeah... it was´t easy, but ofcourse totally worht it. I jaut wasnt mentally prepared to the 1 Thousend Steep steps up.
Once we were on the wall Ranjana and I screeped of excitment!!! Visit the Great wall, CHECK </ And as you can see... we took so pretty amazing picture XD

25 September 2016 - Zhujiajiao Old Water Town at the outskirts of Shanghai

24 September 2016 - Tianzifang and The Bund with Fairy <3
Tianzifang is an adorable Old Chinese Town in Shanghai with very narrow and of course packed pedestrian streets full of Small cafes, boutiques, tea and teapot shops, books shops, crafts shops, jewellery shops and so much more.
We spotted a temple up on a hill and decided to go check it out. The Temple of Confucius is massive and without a doubt my favourite temple so far. It´s absolutely breath-taking. Every detail of the building is amazing and the colours are incredibly rich. What struck me the most was as I was walking up the 1st set of stairs in the temple. To my right up on a balcony stood a monk with his arms wide open looking towards the sea with the strong wind blowing against his yellow robe.
15-16 September 2016 - Shengsi Island.
We rented out some bikes and cycled around the island. I felt so FREE !!! And couldn´t stop thinking o myself “How on earth am I here?” We are on the other side of the world with no plan whatsoever of where we are going and just seeing where these swirling roads take us.

At night was when our trip became a real adventure! There was a typhoon coming and the storm caused a power cut in the village we were staying. We still had to go out for dinner so we went into a random restaurant and because they couldn't speak English they took us outside and let us point at the seafood we wanted. So in front of us the cook picked up the fish, muscles and crab and put it on the grill and frying pan. You could tell the food was fresh and it was absolutely delicious. Para lamerse los dedeos!!! <3
When we woke up in the morning I was asked, “When are you leaving?”, and I said “probably later on the evening” and the lady replied, “You have to leave the island as soon as possible or you will be stranded here because the Typhoon is coming and the boats will stop running later on this evening!!”. So we dashed to the Port were very lucky to find a really nice man who spoke English and helped us sort out our return tickets.
After coming down the WFC the weather was perfect <3!!! so we walked for a bit and then stopped at O'Yamee Restaurant 欧米亚餐厅 restaurant, for dinner. With and amazing view the drinks and food were both very nice and cheap!!!

On one of my nights out in Lujiazui with Connor we went up the World Financial Center!!! With the high-speed elevator, we go to the 101st floor in no time and my ears even popped.
Went for dinner with Nikki, Tash and Connor to Paradise Dynasty (6th Floor, IAPM Mall, 99 Huaihai Zhong Lu)
Had LOADS of incredibly delicious Chinese dishes !!!
-Kung Pao CChicken/ Vegetable Spring Roles/ Garlic Green Vegetables/ Chrispy sweet and sour Pork/ Cracked Garlic Cucumber
-And what this place is famous for: Xiao Long Bao, colourful dumplings of differnt flavoured fillings. White - clasical, Yellow - with chees, Pink - with prawns, Black - had squid ink, and I think there was also brown with mushroom. Basically you have to pick one up with your chopsticks, put it on your Chinese funny spoon, take a small bite and through that hole suck out the soup inside. Absolutely mouth wattering !!! Extream leavel of pleasure in your mouth.
-This beat the banana cream I had at the 'The Walkie-Talkie' Building in London, which up until then had been what to me heaven woud taste like.
We visited Shanghai´s Ocean Aquarium and later on walked around the area of Lujiazui. This as my first time taking a closer look a the collection of incredibly tall buildings in Shanghai, such as the “Oriental Pearl TV Tower”, “World Finacial Center”, “Jin Mao Tower” and the “Shanghai Tower” :o !!!
