“You saying that I’m not?”
“Well I’m not saying that you are.”
“Ever thought of getting drugs without the mediocre sex? I bet fake orgasms gets really tiring after a while.”
“Why stop faking something you’re really good at faking?”
“Please.. As if you can look this good. Don’t be shy, you can admit it.”
“For your information I look great.”
“Doesn’t that get boring? Having sex all the time? Do you at least change it up? Do some roleplaying? Some BDSM?” Veronika quirked an eyebrow and pursed her lips. “Do you at least get good drugs? It’d be a waste if you got mediocre sex and mediocre drugs.”
"Of coarse the sex is fine, I am a beast in bed. But the drugs are always fantastic.” She said, smirking.
Marin shook her head. “No, the sex isn’t great.” She said, tapping her fingers on her side. “But the drugs are always fantastic.” She said, smirking.
“Yeah, but I’m not you, so that’s none of my business.”
“Definitely not me. At least I hope I don’t look like that.”
“As if I need help, I kicked his ass, done and done.”
“My apologies,” Marin said, raising her arms as if to surrender, “I had no idea I was in the presence of such a badass.”
“Oh, you’re new then aren’t you? I made it sound far worse than it actually is. No, it’s a nice little town. Promise.”
“I heard somebody got killed at one of these parties. Was it true?”
“Seeing as I haven’t heard anything bad about it yet, I’m going to assume this is the first party here in a long time that hasn’t gone horribly wrong so it probably was a shame to miss.”
“Do they usually go horribly wrong?” She asked raising her eyebrow.
“Do you do it for personal gain, or for the hell of it?” she asked the younger girl. Veronika wasn’t afraid to use her own sexuality to get what she wanted. This girl in front of her looked like the kind of girl who, if she put in the effort, could get everything she wanted and more. She could even get others to do her dirty work.
“Do I look the type to have sex for personal gain?” She asked, holding a hand over her chest as if she was offended. “For the hell of it, mostly.” She said looking around as if she didn’t want anyone else to hear her. “Sometimes for drugs I guess.” She said, shrugging. She didn’t know if she’d consider that personal gain.
“So you don’t have the balls to throw a glass at me. Probably a good choice. What are you actually good at other than looking pretty?”
She considered it for a moment before speaking again. “Sex... And drinking.” She said, nodding her head.
“Eeeexactly. So screw it. See? Worry free.”
“Some people, like myself, aren’t so lucky to be consequence free.”
“Some prick walked right into me and somehow it’s my fucking fault for bumping into him? What the actual fuck? I was standing there and not only did he spill my damn coffee onto the ground, he gets up all in my face? Like. What. The. Fuck?”
"Is someone having a rough day?” Marin asked with a smirk on her face. It seemed like a petty problem to her, but to each their own. “Do you need an attack dog to send after him?”
“I always love a challenge.”
Marin hesitated for a moment before placing the glass back in the cupboard. “I’d rather start a challenge in a skill I’m good at.”
“It’s a spontaneous existence. Living in the moment because why not? I’ve got plenty of years to go so planning everything out is such a chore and really, that’s no fun at all. Spontaneous is better. I can do whatever I want, whenever I want. Besides, it’s not like I need to worry about consequences because those have nothing to do with me.”
“Spontaneous existence.” She repeated quietly. It sounded nice. “Consequences are a pain in the ass anyway.
“Not really. It makes for good target practice.”
“I could say the same about yours.” She said, reaching for a glass. “Shall I test my theory?”
“It was incredibly necessary. They are very ugly glasses.”
“In that case do you mind aiming away from my face? It’s kind of an important feature.”
