Itâs kind of interesting that everyone was so quick to turn me into Lady Macbeth when they found out i was watching Lex.
The Fault In Our Stars and Charlotte's Webb?
the fault in our stars: if you could have one conversation before you died, who would you talk to and what would you say?
My real parents. Iâd ask if they looked for me or if they replaced me. Ask if they ever stopped looking for me.
charlotte's web: what's your favorite art form?
I like classical music and I like painting - Impressionism is my favorite.
the giver
the giver: talk about a favorite memory
I donât know if it was real, but my father caught me playing the piano. And I donât mean playing. It was more like banging on the keys. I think I was four or five. He sat me down and played this beautiful melody. Then, he started teaching me. Every day after that, he gave me piano lessons.
harry potter
harry potter: if you could bring someone back from the dead, would you? if so, who would it be?
I canât think of anyone. Besides, whatâs dead should stay dead.
fahrenheit 451
fahrenheit 451: do you think there's any knowledge that should be kept secret?
I think so. Information that canât fall into the hands of bad people. And I mean bad. The Hitlers, Kim Jong-ils, Mussolinis, and Trumps of the world.Â
the canterbury tales
the canterbury tales: if someone is hypocritical, do you point it out?
Yes. I wouldnât even hesitate.
Most scandalous investigation you've done?
All of my cases are strictly confidential.Â
Ask my muse extremely personal questions.

âȘ GENERAL
NAME:Â Audrey Chen AGE:Â 31 GENDER:Â Female HOMETOWN:Â Seattle, WA AFFILIATION:Â Neutral ABILITY:Â Memory Manipulation FC: Kristin Kreuk PLAYLIST: [ xxx ] AVAILABILITY: Taken
âȘ MEMORY MANIPULATION
OVERVIEW:
Audrey can control other peopleâs memories. She can modify, fabricate, suppress, influence, repair and restore, erase, detect, and view memories, although she is not strongly skilled in repairing and restoring. She can control her own memories, but has not yet been able to do this effectively. She can change memories to confuse, wipe away certain memories to cause amnesia, discern and provoke nostalgia. It is also possibly for her to replay a memory to someone.
Memory Erasure: Erase memories from herself or others.
Memory Absorption: Steal the memories of others.
Memory Implantation: Implant memories into the minds of others, which could either be pre-existing memories from someone else, or false memories created by the user. She could place herself in memories of the target (and act as a loved one or old friend).
LIMITATIONS:Â
She may lose control in times of stress or if rushed. It could result in a partial or total wipe of someoneâs memories.
She may get overwhelmed with the memories of others.
Sufficient resistance from another evolved human of sufficient power and/or skill can cause her physical and mental strain.
Precise memory removal usually requires prolonged physical contact.
She can create false memories or manipulate them, but those memories are prone to human errors and may fade over time.
She is currently unable to restore lost or manipulated memories that she herself did not erase or manipulate. Even then, she has difficulty effectively recovering original memories she erased or manipulated.
âȘ BIO
Audrey Chen was born somewhere in the United States, but canât pinpoint where exactly. She thinks itâs Seattle, Washington or somewhere around there. She remembers growing up with parents. She remembers her two mothers when she was younger, but after she turned five, she remembered seeing two other people. Her whole childhood is a blur and a mesh of different memories that she canât distinguish entirely if theyâre real or a dream. When she discovered her ability, she couldnât figure out if that was something that really happened, that she made up, or absorbed from someone else.
The real story that she only half remembers? Shortly after Audrey was born, she was adopted by a nice family. She lived with them, but when she was five, she got separated from her mothers in the mall and the next thing she knew, she was with another family. Young, confused, and not knowing any better, she accepted it, although she had a voice in the back of her head telling her this wasnât right. Her new family manipulated her mind to make her believe that everything was fine. That everything was perfect. The thing is that the voice started to fade away as she grew up. Audrey grew up happily with a loving family.
When she was sixteen, she came home early from school and overheard her parents talking. Audrey of course eavesdropped when she heard her name several times and it dawned on her. The moving around. No pictures at school were taken. The jumbled mess of old memories that seeped into her dreams. Sure, it was suspicious when she was growing up and she figured her father or mother might have done something wrong. What she didnât realize was that she was the reason why this was happening. When Audrey brought it up with her parents, their behavior changed. That night, Audrey left to make her own path.
Audrey didnât make an attempt to find her real parents or even go to the police. She was always taught never to trust the police and maybe this was why. Her parents didnât want her blabbing to the authorities. She changed her name and moved around in her car to find a place to finish school. After high school, she joined the Marines to help pay for college since she was a girl without an identity or family. It was during the Marines when she became more aware of her abilities. She touched a man who attacked her and suddenly, he collapsed. When he woke up, he didnât remember a single thing. He was a blank slate and no one knew why. When Audrey visited him, she touched him again and focused on memories that were lost. Instead of restoring his memories, she created new ones for him based on his file. He was never the same again. After that, Audrey decided to focus on understanding these strange abilities.
She served the Marines for a couple of years before leaving and once again changing her identity. For years, sheâd change her name and move somewhere. Audrey became a private investigator and started to use her powers on suspects and victims to help her solve cases. Very few people knew about her or her secret. Sheâd wipe herself from their memories and move on. She became a leaf in the wind, going where ever her instincts would take her.
âȘ CONNECTIONS
â OSCAR HAMILTONÂ // FRIEND It was a stroke of luck that brought Oscar and Audrey together. Or maybe less luck and more the fact that Audrey walked in on Oz using his powers when he thought he had a back room to himself. She didnât expose him, though, instead she took the opportunity to ask for his help and over time they have gotten to be closer friends.
â LUCY HARPERÂ // INFORMANT Lucyâs ability allows her to pick up any whispers that have been heard by the wind, making her the perfect informant for Audrey. Besides, Lucy never asks for anything in return except Audreyâs company.
