So Shinn Asuka, like I said I'm talking about someone out of the UC, and I think I'm gonna do that every Sunday, I'm going to mention a character completely unrelated to Hathaway cuz I love almost the whole of this franchise

Soooo let's talk about my favorite Gundam Seed character, Shinn Asuka

This poor anti-social boy was given the shortest end of the stick possible, starting the series with no one that close to him and ending it not even the protagonist and aside from Luna, pretty much alone again, Athrun was a terrible mentor to him, Ray and Gil both used and manipulated him cuz he had SEED mode, Stella got saved, put back on the battlefield and then he had to watch her die, and Kira being not a good person in SD makes this even worse (just cuz he turned out to be right doesn't mean he was good, I mean he just assumed based on very little actual evidence that the people who attacked him were sent by the plants and said that cuz of that they're equally as bad as the alliance which was literally enslaving and killing people), after watching Freedom and reading the wiki and learning why the Destiny Spec 2 had the darker armor I'm convinced no one even talked to him about what happened, Shinn is so unaware that he thinks someone like Ray is someone worth honoring, so Scared that he has hallucinated that Stella still protects him and no one talked to him about why what happened to him was bad, I'm genuinely convinced that the only reason Shinn was invited on the team was because Kira is scared of having to fight him again, I mean last time he lost to Shinn who was flying a worse Gundam. Shinn was given no shortage of grief and yet he kept going, and even if he went in the wrong way he was doing it cuz he was told it's the right thing to do, and having no one else he thought he was doing good.

Shinn is an honest and genuine kid who needed actual guidance in life from someone who had his best interest at heart, not from people trying to use him

Shinn needs a hug and some more better friends and he definitely needs someone to talk to him about what happened
