I agree with u that Mario is not really fat!

It's not even an opinion. Like, Nintendo gave plenty of proof. Man was bigger at debut, and, like most mascots, got slimmed down over time. Which is good in this case because this is a perfect design; the average meaty guy bod. But for some reason someone will straight up hate you for pointing it out. Believe it or not, years ago I was literally wished MY DEMISE for defending this little harmless fact, in here. (Wont stop tho)

What is the deal with humans in mario, for you?

For me It’s fair to assume humans are not an "adoptive" species in the 'mushroom world', but rather a native one that's just not predominant. It's not uncommon to spot random humans in the kingdom across few different media. The games don't bother to show them because they don’t need them; Miyamoto only wants a hero, a princess and a villain.

Plus, in the games Peach DOES have a human family. Her dad, King Toadstool, is the one who sent Mario to save her in the original SMB.

So who exactly are Bella’s twin siblings?

The boy is named Leo and the girly is Sofiè. The latter seems veeery cautious and observant while her brother is already a miniature of his badass mother. Still, the two do have a thing in common; their love for the big sister, whom however, does not reciprocate the same just yet. Just like Mario and Luig back then, theses babies will cry if separated. (Yes, I will sketch the kiddos at some point. Just gotta find a moment)

[Mario Galaxy Movie - SPOILER REVIEW]

Let's start with the negatives. This movie is messy, very messy, and for this I would be lying if I said part of me was not disappointed walking out. Yet again writers put less care in crafting the story of a number 2 because they know big money is coming in anyway. Examples? K. The sisters reveal for Peach and Rosalina is just thrown in your face without exploration, Bowser acts schizophrenic, and all the character moments are simply teased, overshadowed by action sequences and easter eggs. Now... hear me out, nobody is asking for sheaksperian stuff in a mario movie, however this IS a movie, not a game. The first one understood the assignment. Super Mario Galaxy, I'm afraid, had another: reference all the possible games for the anniversary. Makes me worried for M3..

Now the positives. The animation is gorgeous, an impressive upgrade, visible especially on the character models. Most easter eggs are really part of the plot and world building, like Fox is litterally needed in order for the heroes to reach the final planet. Action scenes in this are to die for. That whole hot sequence with our power couple escaping Junior's death trap is undeniably mindblowing. Another level-up worth praising. While brief, as mentioned earlier, character interactions are somehow one of the highlights in this. Most notably with Bowser\Bowser Junior and Mario\Peach. Thing is we're so NOT used to significant dialogue in the games that when we get a taste here it still makes our day. Bonus: The way they popped freaking MR. GAME & WATCH (fave cameo) into existence here is genius. Dude's totally the rushed product of someone who had to draw with a giant paintbrush to save their skin. I LOVE IT.

In the end, as a very hardcore mario fan but also a guy who wants his animated movies to have substance, I can give Galaxy a generous 7\10.
