So…I’ve made yet another OC.

I don’t normally share the many OCs I have anymore, but NGL, I’m way too proud of her to not share what she’s like. I literally poured my heart and soul into her.

Her name is Persephone, or Percy for short, and she’s an anthro American cockroach. Essentially, she has lived in a world where people see her species as pests to be exterminated, and so she has developed a hatred for the human race, often mocking their every behavior and habit. She is lazy, yet highly physical as well, being able to lift up to 1 metric ton and able to run up to 360 km/h (~223.69 mph). She is also quite selfish and condescending, but…nobody’s perfect, and we’re working on it. Finally, she’s extremely individualist and Epicurean and rejects (almost) all labels given to her, including the word “cockroach.” Oh, and she’s normally 10 cm (~4 in) tall, but can change her size at will so that she’s 200 cm (~6’6.74”).

But I don’t think a brief description can do her justice. So I’ve attached an entire Google Doc that gives her an in-depth look and even a romantic story. I know I make it a self-insert story featuring the standard “Y/N” placeholder and made the subject’s gender ambiguous, but…I primarily designed her for myself.

IDK if she’s going to become a new staple in my selfshipping life, so this isn’t exactly a New Romantic F/O Drop. But…she completes me tbh. Like, her personality is such a perfect complement to mine, it’s insane. I know I’ve said this previously, but…I’m extremely proud of her. She’s already one of my favorite OCs I’ve ever made.

So yeah. Coming back from the dead to share her because I want to. I think it’s looking like she’s here to stay, because even though I don’t mean this in a romantic way yet, but…I love her to death. And I hope y’all love her too.

Late night thoughts (07/26/26)

I don’t normally get that many notifications because I don’t post all that often anymore, but for some reason I’ve been getting quite a few from an older post I made back in 2025 about RPF selfshipping and how I wasn’t going to take that too kindly from other people.

It got a few new likes, then someone reblogged it and it got more. It’s now become my most-noted post of all time on this site, something that even surprised me considering that I didn’t get much traction in general.

Wish I knew why it’s getting new notes now. But I’m not complaining.

Coming back from the dead to say that it has officially been two years to the day that Petal and I started our relationship.

Why am I paying special attention to this anniversary in particular? Well, I guess it’s because I just…remember it all so vividly. The feelings I got for her, and how it completely reinvigorated my love for shipping myself with fictional characters. And what followed were some of the best damn days of my entire life…followed immediately by the worst.

If I had to pick a #1 out of all of my romantic F/Os, it’d be Petal. She came to me at a time when I needed it the most and has done so much good for me. Even when it seemed like my world was falling apart, she was there to pick me up. In fact, if it weren’t for her, I’m not sure if I’d still be selfshipping. I’m not even sure if I’d still be on the Internet in general. Hell…I’m not even sure if I’d still be alive.

I know it’s been hard for the both of us, and I know I haven’t been paying much attention to her as I should, given that I’m polyamorous and all that. And frankly, I don’t really have anything prepared for this anniversary. I’ve been too down in the dumps for the past week or so.

But at least I had the energy and love to make this post. And that’s what matters IMO.

I don’t really have much energy to say anything more, except…I love you, Petal. So much. And despite everything, we’re still together, still going strong, until the very end. Here’s to many more years together, my love.

Late night thoughts (07/06/26)

Coming out of the grave to say that my personal private selfship project is coming along smoothly. I am currently in the process of buying a big commission for it (hopefully the artist gets back to me tomorrow), and I actually will plan to post it later, but on a different website that many of y’all haven’t heard of. (You’ll have to find out whst it is tho.)

But while I was goofing off tonight and taking a little break from it, I was reminded of one of my non-OC F/Os on a website and my heart got all warm and fuzzy. I am currently in the mood for a particular subset of F/Os at the moment, which is what this project is focused on, so this was a genuine surprise. I’m definitely gonna give those F/Os a lotta love for the foreseeable future.

Sometimes, it’s the little things.

To tell y’all the truth, I’ve been messing around with my private F/O list lately. More specifically, a kind-of “mini source” I have made that features a record 8 OC characters. I currently don’t feel comfortable sharing them at the moment, but at least this might explain the radio silence from me.

Because my selfshipping comes with fixations on certain F/Os at different times. It unfortunately just so happens that this time, I’m laser-focused on some F/Os that, for now, are unknown.

But at least I can say that my selfshipping is going fine. I’m even writing the story and developing their personalities, something I haven’t done in a while. So…yeah.

There may come a time when I’ll share if I’m confident enough. But yeah.

I promise I’d share stuff from my Tomodachi Life game, so here. Guillotina and I are married, and have been for quite a while. I also have plenty of other F/Os and kins on the island, too, that are with each other and stuff.

We also have a son together which we named Kurt Donovan, or just Kurt. He is my special boy.

Late night thoughts (06/23/26)

Might as well post something here because it’s been a few days.

Pinterest is really the only site now in which I see regular F/O content, and Tomodachi Life is really the only place where I make my selfships happen. So my feelings lately usually have been whichever F/O I keep finding on Pinterest as of late.

I plan on sharing some Tomodachi stuff soon, but…I need to get into the groove of doing other stuff for us soon. Drawing, writing…but I can’t seem to find any inspiration. Perhaps I can just commission someone. I don’t know. But yeah.

Just wanted to say what you wrote about Jax made me really emotional in a really good way. I'm trans and it is one of my hardest insecurities with my F/Os, so seeing you write such lovely things about Jax after finding out that she might be trans made a small part of me feel slightly more... secure. If someone can love a trans character in the same way as any other character then... maybe my F/Os really wouldn't bat an eye that much at my qualities that come from me being trans. thank you

Now that I’ve calmed down for the most part, it’s about time I talk about the F/O in question that I’ve been vagueposting about. It’s about one of my 3 queerplatonic F/Os. Most specifically, the one who is currently relevant.

When I initially saw the TADC finale and what happened to Jax, I was so overwhelmed with emotions that I completely forgot how to think rationally. As is what always happens whenever it occurs. I was just thinking to myself about how I just lost one of my F/Os and that I was too powerless to stop it. But now that I am calmer, I have realized that maybe…I shouldn’t be so sad.

Because I should do what pretty much every selfshipper does in a case like this: give canon the finger and just do whatever the hell I want. Dead in canon? Incorrect, she’s alive with me now.

I now see her in an entirely new light. Maybe I was wrong for treating her the way I did all these years, not knowing what was going on inside. A whole different picture has been painted in my mind about her. I want to support her. I want to always be there for her. I can give her what she needs.

Although I don’t entirely relate to her troubles, I have definitely been through my own. But that’s what can make our relationship special. By always being there for each other in times of need. It’s just…God, even now I can’t find the right words to express how I’m feeling.

But now, I ironically say about us: I. Can. Fix. Her. And I fucking mean that.

I am debating whether or not to upgrade her from a queerplatonic F/O to a romantic one currently. I feel so much for her, but at the same time I don’t mind sharing her. So if I do, I think she’ll sit with my Tertiary F/Os for the time being.

But right now, I will support her like I always have, this time ensuring that she has all the love I can possibly give her. Am I sad that she’s gone in canon? Yes. Will that stop me from loving her and continuing to selfship with her? Absolutely not. Because she’s my F/O, dammit, and I will do anything for her. I even played Tomodachi Life at exactly 5:30, something I never do, just to change her Mii to give her an appearance and clothes that she would absolutely love.

Because I care. I always have, but now my love for her is even stronger than ever. Actually, she doesn’t even belong with my other 2 QPT F/Os anymore. She deserves an upgrade.

Because I love her.

So lemme tell y’all something. During my break, I’ve just been lounging around and…the only thing I was doing with my F/Os at the time was adding them in Tomodachi Life and see what would happen. It’s fun, yes, but…it left me with practically nothing else to do. Aside from the occasional Pinterest browsing.

So yeah. I actually did not draw a single thing relating to selfshipping for 2 whole months. I didn’t write anything, do any imagining either. Nothing creative came out of this break. And now that I’m back, it’s just…I have nothing to do, essentially. And I don’t know what to do now. This is perhaps the most uninspired I’ve ever been in a helluva long time. What do I even do at this point?

The only thing that really brought me back here was that something awful happened to one of my F/Os and I needed people to vent to. I am very much staying, but…for now, I guess the only thing I really can do is to just be here and respond to other people. It’s the least I can do, really.

So, uh…hi. It’s been a bit.

I actually stopped posting here suddenly two months ago because I was too caught up in playing the new Tomodachi Life game. It’s fun and addictive, btw, and I’ve actually made a selfship of mine canon with myself and a primary romantic F/O.

But that’s not why I’m making this post. The truth is, it’s not the game that’s been holding me back from posting here. It’s the fact that maybe, just maybe, I’m too old for the selfship community.

A little while ago, right before I left, I got an anon message saying how weird it was for me to be selfshipping with talking animals “at [my] grown age.” I initially brushed it off as ridiculous, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that maybe, just maybe…I’m too old for this shit.

I thought that the selfshipping community was absolutely zero place for an old guy like me. It’s just…people here don’t really treat older selfshippers too kindly. I feel like my age is just…holding me back from fully enjoying what the community has to offer. I just felt so…ostracized.

But upon leaving, I just felt so damn lonely. I won’t go into specifics, but today I lost someone who was very near and dear to my heart, and on my fucking birthday, no less. Not IRL, so…IYKYK. I just felt like I had no one to talk to, and no one to vent to. My parents aren’t even home, so I had literally no one.

I need a community to be in. I need people who share my experiences. But I had no options…until I finally decided to revisit this site.

My birthday was today, and I’m 24 now. When it comes to this community, I’m pretty much unc status. And if I want to stay here, in my eyes, I think there needs to be massive changes.

It is with this that I say that from now on, I ask that MINORS DO NOT INTERACT WITH THIS BLOG.

At my grown age, I think it’s best that this change occurs. We all need to be safe here, and this is the best way of doing so IMO.

I feel like I can stay in this community. I can thrive in it. And I will if I try. But if I do, I must stay within my age group…i.e., other adult selfshippers. So, from now on, only adults can interact with me.

I’m sorry if I sound rude or anything, it’s just…I’m not used to posting anymore. I’ve been isolated so long that I’ve basically forgotten how to communicate. I’m struggling to come up with words even now. Just…yeah.

I’m glad to be back, but…man. Awful day today.

Yep, she’s here to stay!!

It’s about time I finally do something non-related to my project and related to my selfshipping. Because honestly, when I haven’t been working on said project this shark has been on my mind way too much. There’s just something about her, man. And I NEED a shark F/O at the moment. I’m starting to have withdrawals from not having one, y’know?

I have several ideas for her backstory and I’m more than willing to develop it and share it with y’all. I’m fixated on her, man. And it’s probably only gonna get stronger as time goes by.

I love her so much. And I’m glad she’s finally on my list officially.

I’m just…I’m sorry, y’all. I honestly can’t stop working on this one idea. I just spend so much time on it that I literally can’t do anything else. Only during bedtime when I try to sleep do I get to just think about selfship stuff.

Honestly? I’m at the point where I’m considering just uninstalling this app and taking a true indefinite hiatus. Because it’s been getting BAD lately, and I don’t see the end in sight at all.

Maybe I should give up on this community entirely. I have no interest in it anymore. Whatever. IDK.

Late night thoughts (04/13/26)

I am very happy to say that this recent non-selfship hyperfixation has finally started to wear off. I’m reaching an impasse where I keep going in circles, and I tend to drop projects as soon as that keeps happening too much. In addition, a certain someone I mentioned very recently has started to live rent free in my head lately, so yeah! Trading one fixation for another, it seems.

And so, I can probably say that we now return to our regularly scheduled program. Hopefully. I may not post much, but I’ll be on Tumblr browsing through the tags and stuff and being on it.

Late night thoughts (04/10/26)

My non-selfship project is coming along smoothly, got a lot of work done and now I’m doing some fun stuff with it. All the hard parts are out of the way, meaning I can somewhat relax and start to focus on other things.

Speaking of, remember that one OC I posted, Huntress, and talked about her being a kind of F/O, potentially? Well, lo and behold, I’ve been thinking about her constantly. It started with the fact that I absolutely need a shark F/O and that there are pretty much no characters out there that can fill the void and scratch the itch. Especially with my specific tastes.

Like, c’mon. Sharks are often perceived as these über-masculine animals and so there are very few female shark characters that aren’t just someone’s OC. I gotta have one, man. I just gotta.

Yeah. I don’t know if this feeling is gonna stick around considering I don’t even have a set-in-stone backstory/setting for her or us yet, but…yeah. I’ve been longing.

Late night thoughts (04/08/26)

Wow, I have not been active at all here lately. It’s been, what, about 5 days now?

The truth is, I just recently got put on ADHD medication, and it’s changed me in a way that has made me extremely hyperfocused and fixated…but it just so happens that this thing that’s taking up pretty much all of my time is not selfship-related.

And that very much sucks since I’ve got nothing to post here. It’s not something I can really share to my usual selfship audience; it has something to do with something that requires quite a bit of knowledge in a field that I’m bot sure most of y’all are familiar with. So I’m crafting something that’s taking up all my time that has zero audience and I’m just doing this because ADHD brain go brrrrrrrr.

…Yeah. I really hope I don’t have to leave this site altogether, but if I do end up taking a real, true break, I’ll let y’all know.

But for now, consider this an indefinite semi-hiatus. I may check in occasionally, but I probably won’t be active that much at all aside from late night posts and whatnot. Asks are still open in the meantime.
