My coach sent out an email about a meet and he didn’t have a course map so instead he did this…

wow do you ever just feel like dying temporarily
missing this team
Also, a guy from my hometown randomly snap chatted me out of the blue today. I haven’t heard from him in months and he says he wants to visit me here at college. What does this mean?
As far as first days usually go for me, the first day of track practice today wasn’t that bad. We warmed up for over 45 minutes though and the whole time I couldn’t help but think of how much I missed my high school warmup and my old team’s atmosphere. The workout was 8 hills which doesn’t sound bad (especially because of the hills I am used to running), but they were. It’s weird to be starting at the bottom again, especially because I had achieved such great things in high school, but here past achievements don’t matter. Now I have to show the team that I deserve to be a part of this and that I am fast.
Tomorrow morning I have my first lift session at 5:45am and I am a bit nervous because the most I have ever lifted was the bar, but hopefully it won't be too bad. Wish me luck!
