I'm quite excited about the Parasyte anime, too! Though I only own one volume... But the reason is I remember yasu mentioning that it was his favourite manga XD They've made it more contemporary, which I think is a good move on the studio's part. I wonder if they've been wanting to make Parasyte for longer, but never saw a market for it until SnK, Pupa and Tokyo Ghoul got adapted.

Oh maaaan just you wait, if it's faithful, the end is amazing. I was fond of the shoddy 80s style, it fit it because of the time it came from and the focus on the alien designs rather than people. There's a live action version due soon as well!
