This is real and here is the patent. Nonconsensual data collection is detailed in column #4 on page 17.
watching the gaza genocide so closely has. i don't know i don't have any patience for all the foundational myths of liberal modernity anymore. like all the ooh we're all so much more civilised than ancient people who did child sacrifices we're so much better than those slaveholders we're so much better we're enlightened. we have been watching a besieged people be bombed without relief and our major institutions have justified it. they have been subjected to every crime imaginable.
in case anyone else needs to hear this it’s ok to be more serious. i don’t just mean ‘it’s ok to be serious sometimes’ i mean in general. not everyone has to be funny. it doesn’t have to mean you’re sad or unlikeable. you can just be serious and genuine most of the time and that’s great. i personally think that we’re too focused on ‘funny’ as the primary carrier of likeability right now. i often feel starved for serious conversation, for serious spaces, for a feeling of gravity. you don’t have make good jokes to give people a good time. i say, goof only as the spirit moves you, & don’t worry about it.

Im sorry but this is all such bullshit and so obviously written by someone who is very out of touch with reality.
People have for centuries 'found themselves' in art/literature/beautiful objects. Building an identity doesnt happen in a vacuum - you are actuality comprised of your experiences, interests, aesthetics, favorite colours, animals, flowers, etc. And yes, this includes "neuroses" but like.. in a more normal way? Tick tock has just fucked up the way people talk about mental illness and various mental illnes- adjacent conditions so much that being prone to melancholy is seen a being depressed... being sad or overly emotional due to hormones, which is normal at different times of your life is somehow seen a sign of mental unstability.
There is nothing wrong with creating your identity by bits and pieces you find in art! Thats how literally everyone has ever done it. You will not be absolutely original and 100% your authentic self, nobody has ever been like this. This is a problem you create for yourself. "Who would i be if i stopped consuming things" like if you stopped taking in experiences from the outside world? Nobody thats who. Cuz people do not exist on their own!!!!!!! Isolation and lack of stimulation are actually what could lead someone to insanity.
And the last part? About writing a journal for an audience? Yea. That's what everyone does, babes. We exist and we need to be observed by others to prove to ourselves we exist. Smth about if a tree falls in a forrest, smth nobody around smth else. We study about this shit in psychology class? Write your silly lil journals, you silly girls, we need to prove that we existed and thats ok.
