This is the last day of my OJT Days...
The database is ready, the plugins are ready, the design is ready, therefore we should start developing the app itself ala offline version.
We divided the modules, Kat will work on Members module, Janelle will work on Collection Sheets module and I will work on the Loans Module.
Yun na, so we started developing the app ala offline version :)
Achievements/Accomplishments:
made the first ever design of our app
made the Base-Api and Base-Repository
made some parts of the old project SHRIMPPS
made the simmfins-api
started the offline version of the app
installed plugins for the app
fixed the database design to become similar to the web server’s database
Learnings:
able to sleep early and to wake up early
able to learn laravel basics as well as angularJS
able to learn how to connect the phone to my laptop using ADB and debug the app through it
able to learn nodeJS as well as bower, cordova and ionic platforms for mobile development
able to learn PSR-2 coding conventions for a better way of coding
able to code with an object-oriented approach
able to use different open-source softwares for easy development
able to search different solutions and to fix the problems efficiently
able to handle time pressure and enhanced my skills in analysis and coding styles and strategies
able to learn to pray every 12 noon, 3 pm and 5 pm
able to learn to ask for assistance with my co-developers if I don’t know what am I going to do with the problem or error, communication in short :)
able to be courteous and kind to the employees of the company
And before anything else, I would like to thank the following persons who contributed to the success of my OJT Days:
Our Advisers, Sir Jaggy and Sir RR, for assisting and helping us all throughout our OJT days, and for helping us in the checking of manuscript revisions,
The Panelists, Sir Sy, Sir Frank and Maam Lany, for helping us to fully understand our project and for helping us to add new features into the app that will make it even better and unique,
To the MIS Unit, especially to Kuya Ray, Kuya Arjon and Kuya Ryan, for asssisting and helping us when we need their assistance,
and ofcourse to the SEDP family, headed by Fr. Jovic, for accomodating us and treating us like a part of the SEDP family, as well as for the free lunch that they’ve given to us.
