Remember the last time the FCC nearly killed net neutrality?

Tumblr had this nice big banner at the top of your dashboard alerting any active user about the problem. Guess what has changed since then? Verizon, one of the companies gunning for the death of net neutrality owns yahoo who in turn own Tumblr. Spread the word, tell everyone you can: battleforthenet.com tag posts you see about net neutrality with popular tags so the news spreads.

The fcc is attempting to kill off net neutrality and make us pay to browse the internet. Big companies like Verizon are all for it. Last time they attempted this tumblr displayed a huge banner at the top of every users homepage warning us of this threat. Since tumblr has been bought over by Yahoo(Verizon), there’s been nothing. The only way to stop this is a burst of phone calls to Congress. So call your congressman or better yet, text “resist” to 50409. This will walk you through and allow you to fax your congressman. Stay civil, yet upfront, that this is unamerican and an obstruction to our freedom. You can probably find something better to say. But please say something

DON’T USE BOTS TO FIGHT FOR NET NEUTRALITY!

The FCC have already disregarded millions of emails in suspect of sent by fake bot accounts. If you want to fight, you need to call or message the FCC and your Senators yourself!

Look up and contact your Senators and inform them why you don’t want Net Neutrality repealed.
