Okay tumblr i have new information

I have been thinking. this is difficult because thinking is hard right now because it's almost 6 in the morning and i'm still tipsy. But i remember something from his answer on my last post.

Damien tucked me into bed. Which i already said.

BUT.

I forgot a part.

HE KISSED ME.

HE KISSED ME GOODNIGHT.

ON THE FOREHEAD.

I was very drunk.

Me, unfortunately, a gay man with access to a tumblr account and being 6 drinks deep into the damn night.

So apparently there are some things you should NOT tell the mayor after six drinks.

For example:

“Damien, i love you.”

Apparently that is one of them.

I would like to formally state that i had no intention of confessing my feelings to Mayor Damien during what was supposed to be a perfectly respectable evening. I had a plan. it was a very good plan. The plan was to suffer silently and dramatically for approximately another twenty years.

Instead i got drunk, looked at him, and apparently decided subtlety was for cowards.

I said it.

“I love you.”, just like that.

WHO SAYS THAT.

ME, APPARENTLY.

He just stared at me. I stared back.

Then he said, “Mark…”

And i, being an intelligent and emotionally stable actor, responded:

“WHAT? IT'S NOT LIKE I JUST SAID I LOVE YOU OR ANYTHING.”

Except i did say that.

I remember because i have been thinking about it for approximately 700 years since then.

And then he smiled at me. Which was RUDE.

Because now i think he knows. He probably knows.

Oh god.

I love him.

I love the mayor.

I'm in love with Damien.

This is terrible.

This is also possibly the best thing that's ever happened to me.

Worse news: he walked me home.

Even worse news: he tucked me into bed.

Catastrophic news: he smiled.

I may never recover from this.

Good news: i have learned that alcohol does not make you confess feelings you don't have.

Bad news: i have learned that it makes you confess feelings you were very successfully pretending you didn't have.

I need to go back to bed.

Or get another drink.
