I travel to find new plants to bring into the nursery trade. To date I have visited Ecuador, Mexico, China (3x), Taiwan (2x), Japan (4x), Europe, and many parts of the US. This photoblog highlights some of the plants I've enjoyed seeing in the wild.

Children's Program Coordinator Elizabeth Overcash (center), Sarah Dinger (left), and Liz Driscoll (right) are in Hawaii at the 2017 American Society of Horticultural Science National meeting presenting on Project Plants, a STEM-based program for middle schoolers at the JC Raulston Arboretum. Reports are that they blew the audience away.
