“…. seriously…?” Tony stared. “What in the world could he possibly gain by turning one of my suits into a person?”
"You're asking the wrong person." Mary muttered in a low voice.

“…. seriously…?” Tony stared. “What in the world could he possibly gain by turning one of my suits into a person?”
"You're asking the wrong person." Mary muttered in a low voice.

Steve nodded and let her go, taking off to grab the first aid kit. He returned shortly, putting the kit on the counter and taking her fingers from the water again. “It looks better,” he murmured, turning the water off and gently patting them dry with a towel. From the kit he pulled out a salve for the burns, dabbing it on gently. He put a piece of gauze over the burns and then wrapped her fingers with a cotton bandage. Once it was tied off, he gave it another kiss for good measure then cleaned up his supplies.
“Alright,” he said once everything had been put away and his hands had been washed again. “Let’s try this again.” He winked at her and turned the stove back on. “Just watch this time, okay?”
Mary watched silently as Steven went to work on her hands, bandaging them up as necessary. It caused a small smile to come to her face. "Perhaps you could teach me that one day." She said in an excited tone. But as he mentioned cooking again the girl backed up from the stove.
"I'll watch from over here."

Clint nodded, it was only fair. To be an outcast of society he understood, finding someone to at least know was better than nothing. He blinked again when she offered to go eat lunch. “Alright, If you want we can go do that.”
"Alright." She then glanced around awkwardly before facing him. "I'm not exactly sure what people eat for lunch." Mary gave a sheepish smile. "I do apologize."

“So is your new found humanity a discovery of Mr. Stark or did this come about under different circumstances?” Phil laughed a bit quietly, “I apologize for the strict S.H.I.E.L.D.-esque professionalism. I guess old habits die hard.”
"Loki." She explained. "At least, I believe so. My assumption was some of the tesseracts...magic broke off from the portal and affected me so."

“I don’t know…” he sighed. “It sounds harsh but, Tony needs his suits. And do you even enjoy being a human?”
"He doesn't need us. Do you even know what he did to us?"

“A Stark? I’m taking a wild guess and assuming you’re related to Tony?”
"Yes, I am."

“Er, it’s like human oil.” Clint shrugged. He honestly was nervous about how she might react to water, having once been something like a machine. “I can make it taste like something if you want.” He had those fancy powder things in his cabinet.
She immediately shook her head, moving the water away. "No, I quite like it like this." Mary insisted before looking down at the glass almost with a look of admiration.

This was going nowhere fast. Robert rubbed a hand over his face, letting out a sigh. “For you it’s real; from where I come from, this whole world is fictional. That’s why there’s a movie of Tony and his suits. It’s entertainment for where I come from. Point being, I don’t come from this world, this universe, whatever it’s called. Now does it make a bit more sense?”
"So....There's two different universes where one is real and in another it isn't?" She questioned, tilting her head slightly to the side. "That's weird."

Steve couldn’t help but chuckle softly at Mary’s reaction, wrapping an arm around her and squeezing gently. “Remember what I said — keep your fingers under the water. If you focus on doing that, you can’t hurt yourself.” He placed a kiss to her forehead. “It’ll only take me a moment, I promise.’
"Just hurry." She told him in a soft voice, waiting for an answer. But before he had the chance to answer the female was turning back to the water and focusing on keeping her fingers underneath it.

“No I didn’t mean it that way, I just…I don’t know. Look at it this way, if a chair magically turned into a person we’d have to fix that wouldn’t we?”
"So you want me to change back into a suit?"

Clint couldn’t help but chuckle. “Let’s start you off with something else I think you’ll like better.” He didn’t want to tell her it was water, since he had an idea she might not drink it then. He filled the glass from the tap and handed it to her. The archer just hoped she wouldn’t figure it out, because she did need water to keep living.
He started on the pancakes, quickly making the batter and pouring some of it in the pan.
She took the cup and sipped it, a slight frown on her face. "It tastes sorta...plain. Like nothing. But it almost feels like oil cause it's a liquid. Is it a different brand?"

“Hey hey hey, slow down kiddo. You’ll give yourself a heart attack or something.” he stated when he noticed her eating like the food was going to disappear. He nodded and grabbed a beer from the fridge. “Sure, I can also teach you anything you want to know. Or, you can go to school at the same time.” he shrugged, sipping on his beer.
Mary looked down at the food in front of her then glanced over towards Tony. "Can you tell me what sex is?" She questioned. "I heard you mention it one time."

“I explained that. I played in a movie about Tony. Four of them actually, if you consider the Avengers as one. That’s why I look like him. But I’m not… actually him.” Robert took the license back, shoving it in his wallet before returning it to his pocket. “Is it starting to make sense yet?”
"That makes no sense." Mary folded her arms."Why would someone play him in a movie when it's real?"

“Yes. You can.” Clint nodded his head to her. “I’m here if you need anything, it may take me a bit to get to where you are but I’ll be there.” He offered her a smile.
Mary smiled. "Thank you, sir. For being so kind." She told him with a polite nod before looking down. "Perhaps, sir, you would like to go out for lunch?"

She looked down at her feet. “Sorry.”
"Maybe we shouldn't watch a movie."

“huh. Well that makes sense.” he replied, pulling out the bowl from the mircowave when it beeped that it was ready. He grabbed a fork and placed them both on the table. “Sit and eat.” he stated, poking to the chair. “what if showed you have to read?” he asked.
She sat down at the table, immediately beginning to scarf down the food that had been set in front of her. Mary was starving and needed to fill her stomach. But the mention of him teaching her nearly made her choke. "You'd teach me?"

‘i’m not meaning to offend you but I thinks its important we ah…” he paused for a moment contemplating how to word it. “know our role”
"Know our role? So you're saying that I should just be a tool someone uses?"
