Another Ghost Huntress book!

After pulling a college-like all-nighter, I made my deadline for the latest installment of my GHOST HUNTRESS series!  This book is a novella length and is centered around the holiday season.  It's called GHOST HUNTRESS: THE TIDINGS.

Stessed out from her academic finals and work as a psychic, unnoticed and ignored by her parents pouring their attentions on her little sister, and overloaded with responsibilities for the church, the community, and her friend’s wedding, Kendall Moorehead isn’t exactly in the Christmas spirit.  Her bah humbug attitude makes her want to sleep straight through the last year of December.  However, a visit from the spirit of an old friend tells her she needs to slow down, enjoy being a teenager, and appreciate her life and family.  During the night, Kendall is visited by three ghosts – Past, Present, and Future – who remind her of what a wonderful life she has and what a positive influence she is on others…particularly her younger sister, Kaitlin.  Will she be able to recapture that blessed Christmas spirit, or will she be doomed to accept the troubling future that could be ahead for her?

My dad just wrote his first young adult novel. It is called Gothmares. It is about a 17 year old girl who is used to having vivid scary daydreams, but one day her daydreams become real and she has to help an actual ghost solve a mystery. There is only one book out now but there are going to be 5 in the series.

Over a week ago, our kitty, Boo, escaped from our car for two hours. Thankfully, he was found unharmed and returned home with us. However, as each day progresses, his sister, Madison, gets more and more belligerent toward him. She's totally unsettled, black-eyed, hissing, snarling, and growling as though she has no idea who he is. I ask that you please send healing thoughts and prayers to our little babies. It breaks my heart to see them like this. That's the first time they've ever been apart in their lives and it's as if they don't know each other anymore. I just want them to love each other and cuddle again. Thanks for any help.

I love pancakes and waffles, but they put me in a down-and-out carb coma after eating them.  Today, I tried gluten-free pancakes (with a side of turkey bacon) and no coma in sight.  Only problem was they were a little dry and cakey.  Next time, I might add a dash of vanilla flavoring and a little more milk to make them more moist.  Certainly worth the try!

Reminds me of scary meals at my grandmother's house in the 70s.  She was an amazing baker, but her congealed concoctions topped with a dollop of mayo and a cherry were anything but "salad."  LOL!!
