THE BEAUTY AND THE BRIT CHAPTER 6 “I´ll be your boyfriend”
You talked almost about everything, and realize that whatever topic you would bring, Tom would talk about it with the same excitement. He made you laugh a lot, and he talked about acting with so much passion , that you could start to understand why girls fell for him. You arrive to the hotel just in time before it started to rain, and arrived starving , so you go directly to eat something, you checked your phone and had messages and calls from your staff friends wondering where you were , so you just answered “I am fine, thanks for waiting 4 me! Thanks to the God of mischief he was abandoned too.”
You two were quite tired for the long walk so as soon as both finished dinner both went to your rooms, Tom kissed you again on the lips “Goodnight, Darling” he smiled and left. You were about to enter your room when your friend stopped you . “Long day, huh?” –she said , “Hey, hmm yes , I am tired , so… yeah , goodnight!” you replied, “Y/N! , I would be careful if I were you” –she said looking serious, “What are you talking about?” – you tried to look confused about what she said, she came closer and whispered “Look you are my friend, Tom is really charming and he likes you! But…he is not convenient right now, rumours say he was engaged with the other girl” , I felt my heart dropped and I wasn´t tired anymore, “which girl?” – you said , “He was in a serious relationship and he got engaged, but you know, rumours come and go and some say they were not…, you don´t want to be in the middle of this”, you were in shock and didn´t know how to react, “Look , I´m tired, see you tomorrow” you closed the door, “how would I know about this?, you hate reading or watching news ,specially about famous people! You just let yourself fall in bed and tried to think what to do next but you fall asleep.
Filming in the location was about to end, just one scene left and you were out of there , you woke up angry and still no idea of what to believe about Tom , you found him on set and he would look at you with his lovely smile as always, you tried to act serious but you just couldn´t!
“Good morning my lady”- and he kissed your hand , you just laughed and answered him “Good morning , Tom” , “Tired after that long walk?”- he said to you, “Mmm, not as much as I thought…thanks for asking”- and you just looked the other way with no more to say , “Is everything ok, Darling?- he says , “Look Tom I …uh…” – you were saying when suddenly your phone rang and it was your mom , “not now , Mom!” you said before answering , “Hello?”-you say , “Hi Darling!, I hope I didn´t disturb you, I know you´ve been busy”- she says being nice as always, “Uhm, just a bit mom, what´s up?” – you say looking at Tom and whispering “I am sorry!” , “It´s ok “ – he whispers back . “Darling I just wanted to remind you that this weekend is the party of the twins, everybody is expecting to see you, you didn´t come last year, so please come with a smile , please dear! “ your mom says to you with a bit of desperation, “Oh mom, I … ugh okok I´ll go, just for a bit!, “And Darling… will you come with someone? … Please tell me you will! Your Aunt is asking non stop, if you are dating with someone! She even said she believed you were lesbian! which would not be wrong of course!” –she says with a tone of gossip , “WOA WOA WOA MOM! SHHH , just ugh yes tell her I´ll take my boyfriend ok! See you on Saturday , bye! – you hang up before she says something else, you turn and Tom is taking something to eat, you look at him lost in your thoughts and arms crossed on your chest and wondering where the hell were you going to take out a boyfriend for the party?! , Tom turns around and he looks at you , when suddenly a “bright” idea comes to you, handomse, tall, old fashioned british guy, polite…
“So you are asking me to pretend to be your …boyfriend and assist to a children´s party?” Tom says looking at you frowning. “Tom…ugh look I am so so sorry I asked you for this but you know, my family can be annoying sometimes and I haven´t had good luck in relationships and …” you continue speaking when suddenly he interrupts you , “Okay” -he says, you opened your eyes in shock, “what?” you barely say , “I´ll do it, I´ll pretend do be your boyfriend and go to that party “ he says looking at you sweetly , you unconsciously hug him by the neck causing him to bend down , “THANK YOU THANK YOU!! , I´LL DO ANYTHING FOR YOU, ANYTHING YOU ASK!” you say and realize people around you is starting to look so you free him from the hug and look at him blushing “Sorry” you say , “It´s ok , but …” he says coming nearer “you bet I´ll ask for something in exchange for this” he says winking and you just roll your eyes, “Toooom! It´s time!” – the assistant yells to him going on set, “Now if you´ll excuse me, I have to destroy Jotunheim” Tom says before leaving. You just stare at him leaving and thinking what did you get in to.
