i'm thinking of reviving this blog. my art hasn't changed much ever since i decided to call it quits here in 2024. that frustrates me in a way, but i'm also trying to embrace my art style. i've been analysing my art a lot, but i can't seem to answer the question "why do i draw the things i draw?". i'll just have to accept that this is just what i do, even if i can't define my art in a square box.

Marie ! i am sorry to hear that,i just want to say I really like your art style and thank you so much for sharing with us, I am happy we get to be mutual for a long time. I hope you can take all the time you need doing whatever you like and keep on discover yourself. Rather you will start drawing again or not it is totally fine as long as you are happy and healthy and able to enjoy other things you might be interested in. i've been thinking about this for a long time, and i think the time has come for me to move on. ever since i started studying again in my 30s, and now graduated, a lot has changed for me.

i've not been able to draw much these past years because i've been too busy, but i've also been dealing with poor mental health which blocked my creativity and desire to create.

on top of that, as a person and an artist, i have changed. what i used to draw doesn't click with me anymore after years of sporadic drawing. i've been trying hard to find the "me" in my old style but that old me is gone. i need to find my voice again, but not attached to my old self.

i need to start over.

i hope i make sense.

i won't be deleting this blog, but i did archive most of my IG and soon i will erase my twitter. sometime in the future i will make a new blog but where and when that will be i don't know.
