I say "I don't know" when i don't won't to upset you whith my choice. I don't want hear your quarrel because of my answer. I say "i don't know" because I feel knife in my heart because I lave you, and I hate hear how you fighting. I say "I don't know" sacrificing myself and my feelings presenting to be indifferent and presenting that this is don't hurting me. I say "I don't know" killing myself in my own consciousness.
