As far as opening lines go, you gotta admit the first line of Sword Catcher is a damn good one. It lives in my head rent free.

Everything about the prologue is amazing. Kel blushing at antonetta? His marbles and Cas? The orfelinat? Him throwing up on jolivets boots? (Cassie truly couldn't help herself)

the night circus was the most magical book i’ve ever read im so glad it had a happy ending

#to me it's even more than that it's a hopeful ending #I've talked about this before but I'm living in delusions #Celia and Marco need something to do other than each other... so since the game has officially been declared a stalemate #they will try to become more than bound ghosts again #delusional? maybe.

Funnily enough, book Sherlock would have been quite pleased with Enola's Marriage and would have never told her off for turning into a lady because that had always essentially been what he had wanted her to be. Marry a lord? How fortunate! Exactly what he'd wanted for her.

Sherlock Holmes is no feminist and would have been very satisfied with Enola both not being alone (and therefore safer) and her being easier to find (and her finally acting like a lady and doing what a reasonable woman of good upbringing is made to do.)

He had wanted to lock her in a boarding school, had wanted her to be taught how to be a lady and had definitely not wanted her to follow in his footsteps. Funny how the movie kind of showed the opposite of all that.

Oh also, Enola would have NEVER, never walked away from her mother. She would have been over the moon for seeing her, she wouldn't walk away because she was "absent for far too long". She would be conflicted, her feelings would be complicated. But she wouldn't turn away.

From my understanding, since Celia and Marco simply teleported to the other realm they could always figure out how to come back. The thing is, they did this because the game was still ongoing but after Widget talked to Alexander, we know it was officially ended and declared a stalemate. So there's no reason why Celia and Marco can't come back.

So why don't they?

Wait so after what happened at the ending of the night circus, Celia and Marcus can interact with everyone inside the Circus, right??? And can probably touch or change anything if they want to? They can still do magic like before right?

If Celia wanted to she could technically still perform and her transparency could be passed as one of her illusions? And do the circus people generally know that two certain ghosts haunt the place?
