I’ve finally got a day off and what do you know the hospital calls me back into work. The clock never stops going when you’re a doctor. It’s wonderful to be back in Lima though, even though I haven’t left the hospital since I’ve been back.

Jesus Christ, the guy who lives above me will not knock it the hell off with the insipid piano/drum/guitar/whatever-godforsaken-instrument-he-can-find playing at all hours. It almost makes me want to just buy a house and move.

So I teach 11th and 12th grade English and one of my students wrote a love note to me. I graded it and gave it back and I swear he looked like I broke his heart. It wasn’t grammatically wrong but I didn’t wanna hurt his feelings. So I did the best thing I could and it still hurt the poor boy.
